The Old Bakery

Pros: Beautiful building clean, spacious and comfortable! Just to note is the location is about a 25-30min walk to the main areas of edinburgh, which we were aware of but just for others to know as edinburgh has a lot of stairs and ups and downs in cobblestone paths

Pros: We had a great time and it was perfect for our two teenagers. The apartment had everything we needed and it was in a great location for our stay.

A charming and convenient ground floor apartment in the Dean Village area.

Pros: The location was great, picturesque and historic. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, plus the hosts do not dispose of leftover supplies suitable for subsequent guests, which we found very useful. The manager sent clear and helpful information.

Cons: The shower is not very strong, but it is adequate. The hob takes a very long time to heat up - I gave up and used the microwave instead.

Pros: The property was in an excellent condition. Very clean and cosy with modern facilities.

Cons: Everything was perfect and if we visit Edinburgh again we will definitely stay again.

A very homely and comfortable stay in Edinburgh

Pros: Due to a cancellation of our flight we arrived much later at The Old Bakery than we anticipated but the host Tony was very kind and understanding of the situation and helped us get into the accommodation by putting the key in a lockbox. The accommodation is very homely and clean, a very pleasant surprise when you arrive tired after a long day at the airport for sure! The beds were comfortable and clean and there was a lot of space and facilities in both kitchen and bathroom. A big plus for me was also Dean village being right around the corner and having Victoria Street very close by on foot which makes it great for walking back and forth to the accommodation.

Cons: The showerhead wasn't very powerful which made showering not as comfortable but it was by no means bad, the bathroom is very clean and spacious. There is some footstep noises from the neighbors above, but only during the morning and day when you are likely out and about anyway.

Comfortable accommodation in a charming part of Edinburgh

Pros: Dean Village is lovely and The Old Bakery is located in the heart of the village. I booked the bakery for my 85 year old, partially sighted, mother as my partner and I were staying around the corner. The Old Babery was clean compforatable and easy for mum to navigate. It suited our purposes admirably.

Cons: The Old Bakery is clean, comfortable and well equipped with appliances. Dean Village however has few shops for milk, bread etc so bring your own supplies.

Pros: Lots of space, easy access to town. Modern decor, very clean. Host very helpful. Parked at top of road free after 5:30pm Friday until Monday morning.

Pleasant, comfortable and good comms with the property manager
