An amazing weekend break in a beautiful house, lovely owners and staff and a perfect location. Breakfast was perfect!

Great stay

Pros: We stayed here for the night on the way back from a wedding to break up the drive. It was well worth it! The guesthouse is stunning! The room we had had a view to the water and fantastic location for the village. Came home with inspo for our own house. Would absolutely recommend and would return.

Perfect Stay…

Pros: This is just a beautiful space very stylish but still feels like home ..the rooms at the top of the house have the best views and feel cosy but great space .The staff could not have been nicer and the breakfast room in the morning had such a peaceful vibe coupled with great food .10/10 did not want to leave x ps bonus garden space for a pre dinner drink too weather permitting

Stunning guesthouse in picturesque village

Pros: This guesthouse is furnished and styled with so much taste and eye for detail. As soon as you step in, you’ll feel like you’re visiting someone’s home and you happen to stay in their cozy guest room. It’s the magazines, dimmed lights, smells, soft cushions, and the selection of local treats in the mini bar. It’s the effortless blend between Scottish homeliness and Scandi chic that we really enjoyed. The breakfast was also well considered- we had yoghurt, granola, fresh croissants, salmon and egg and the house staff Wendy was very lovely and welcoming. Laura, the owner of the guesthouse also owns a stunning Café and homeware shop just up the road, called the Mercat, which we also recommend.

Pros: The house was beautiful and felt so homely. The rooms were spacious and wonderfully decorated, bathrooms were clean and nicely appointed. Fabulous selection of tea and coffee with the lovely added bonus of a well stocked mini bar with local spirits.

Cons: No plug sockets near a mirror.

The Dundonald was as beautiful as Culross .

Pros: This property was absolutely stunning. Everything was a work of art, even the teacups and crockery at breakfast. We felt very well looked after . The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was really tasty.

Delightful, beautiful guest house in the charming village of Culross.

Pros: This is the best accommodation we stayed in in almost 2 months of travelling in France and Scotland. It was a pleasure to stay in every way. It is a beautifully decorated guest house, in the middle of the charming village of Culross. Every comfort is provided in the rooms, ours had a great view of the Firth of Forth. Parking is provided nearby and check in was a breeze. Staff were very friendly and helpful both prior and during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, with variety and options.
