A place, where you can get away from the madness of the City...

Pros: Great location, with a pub/Inn downstairs, and a local Chippy next door... The local amenities, like the Post Office, Co-op, and various restaurants, were all located within 100 yards of the Inn, located in the middle of the 'small' rural town centre.. The car Park, which serviced the local area, was less than 100 yards away, with a beautiful river, full of potential for fishing, depending on the season, running past along the edge of town, with the rural location, far from the hustle & bustle, of the average City centre locations... Great location, if you want away from the maddening crowd, and silent noise, which goes with the sound of the Suburbs. I give this Inn, a 5 star rating, with both thumbs up, from me...

Cons: N/A...

Good value, nothing excessive but great stay

Pros: Homely, clean and tidy, good location and great pub downstairs

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: The location and the relaxed approach of the hosts.²

Cons: My wife said they needed a mirror in the sleeping area near a socket for the hairdryer. You could be put off by the chip shop smell but it didn't bother us.

Clean, comfortable place to get your head down; price reflects accommodation shortage in high season

Pros: Prompt question about breakfast! There was none. The best thing was the friendly, helpful member of staff (there was just one, for the bar and reception) and the room was clean and comfortable although two floors up, which we weren't warned about but luckily we are fit in our seventies and eighties.

Cons: There were no facilities, just a room. Breakfast would have been good as it's 1000 before anywhere that does breakfast is open. The room is above a busy road and pub tables so it was noisy but this was acceptable for a short stay.

Clean and basic, but a warm and friendly welcome, would definitely go back.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff that made us feel welcome, and looked after us. Clean and cosy room, central location.

Cons: Bar area was functional, and not very atmospheric, food choices were limited. The staff friendliness and helpfulness was outstanding, and more than made up for the lack of atmosphere.

Happy to stay here again if I'm in the area

Pros: Staff were very friendly. Jackie checked me in, and was very welcoming. The shower in our designated twin room wasn't working, so I was notified on arrival that we had been moved to two double rooms for no extra charge. It is true that the hotel needs updating, but this is clearly a work in progress. Good shower and radiator.

Cons: i hadn't realised that breakfast was a continental breakfast provided in a paper bag. However, many hotels do this now, so not a problem for me personally.

Pros: I was walking the Rob Roy Way, so the inn was in an idea location on the route. The room was large and clean

Cracking wee place, will definitely come back again

Pros: The location was great, really welcoming and relaxed. The lassie who checked us in with long dark hair was so lovely, friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Cons: The shower lol
