Stunning building and location

Pros: Beautiful building in stunning setting with extremely friendly staff.

Cons: Our room at the back looking over the carpark was very tired.

A lovely stay in a fabulous location

Pros: Beautiful old building and nice bar with fabulous views of the loch.

Cons: Very little gluten free provision on the evening menu resulted in me not having dinner which I was looking forward to. Breakfast was good.

Beautiful location and perfect stopping point for a quiet stay on Loch Lomond

Pros: A beautiful property in a great location with the Loch a stone’s throw away (over the road). Lovely friendly staff and a fantastic room with a really comfy bed and stunning views.

Cons: The food was not up to the standard of the hotel (frozen chips, microwaved mash and veg) so we found it overpriced for what it was and we had much better quality food for the same price in other places. Breakfast was better than the tea time menu with lots of options

Pleasant stay in lovely place

Pros: Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was good and the price very acceptable.

Cons: Don’t want to be negative but radiator in bathroom needed to be on .

Lovely stay, breakfast good, proximity to Loch great.

Pros: Room was spacious with a beautiful view of Loch Lomond.

Cons: I found the room too hot, though I could open the window, and the bedding/pillows were not the best quality. The bed is made with just a bottom sheet and a doona, not top sheet, which I find too hot to sleep comfortably in.
