Rosslea Hall Hotel

Pros: Great location and staff, decent rooms, the bathroom could do with an update

Cons: No hot food being served and no notice on the website to tat effect

We love this hotel - we've stayed here before

Pros: It's an extremely comfortable, relaxing hotel with super-helpful staff. The dog enjoyed it too, especially the bed and bowls provided for her.

Cons: If the restaurant had been open again, it would've been perfect.

Pros: I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They really made the experience feel warm and personal. The scenery around the hotel was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. Waking up to such lovely views made the stay even more special. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!

Cons: Too cold in the rooms even though we had a radiator on.

Cons: Stayed on the second floor room 17 where in the corridor there must have been a leak with wallpaper that had peeled off? No radiator heating as I believe there was an issue with the boiler. Electric radiator in the room which was just about efficient. Disappointed not to have the option of a cooked breakfast as that was one of the reasons I booked?

The place to stay

Pros: Food and breakfast was only outshone by the amazing staff. Beautiful view from the window, lovely building and gorgeous location. I can not compliment the staff enough. Dedicated, friendly, professional and caring. Made our Hogmanay an excellent one.

Cons: Heating issues, although staff did their best to remedie situation. Some of the decoration and woodwork needed tlc in the room especially the bathroom

Pros: A very nice breakfast. All the staff were pleasant and helpful and the location is excellent. Being pet friendly is a bonus, it is a dog-friendly hotel, though my pup is not always an hotel-friendly dog...

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was delicious.

Cons: Didn’t like the fat that we found out they will no longer be serving food which is a great shame as the food was lovely and when you stay at a hotel you want to be able to have an evening meal especially after a long drive.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Fab location, smart public rooms. Excellent food.

Cons: Bedroom & ensuite could do with a refurb
