An enjoyable stay but expensive.

Pros: Location, friendly staff, comfortable bedroom, excellent food.

Cons: It was a winters evening and the bar/restaurant area was a tad chilly - log fires needed stoking up! Expensive relative to quality.

We will be back

Pros: We have been visiting The Pierhouse for many years and it had never failed us. Whether the room is loch facing it “cliff” facing, which I have to say is not an accurate description, better “garden facing”. Anyway either way the rooms are excellently equipped and comfortable.

Wonderful

Pros: Lovely hotel, gorgeous location. Staff were welcoming and friendly, food was delicious. We took the ferry from the hotel pier to Lismore and walked around the island, stopping off for coffee and cake in the cafe. Thoroughly recommend both the hotel and a visit to Lismore

I wish it wasn’t so far away - perfect fish with a superb view

Pros: Stunning restaurant with rooms right on the edge of a peninsula overlooking Lismore. Rooms were large and comfortable. Food was exceptional- fresh fish and shellfish in abundance

The situation was lovely and we had some lovely walks.

Pros: The situation was amazing . The food was good and the staff very friendly.

Cons: Although we were in a nice room, for the amount we paid I would have expected more, I would have liked more info on what to do and see and even the ferry times would have been useful.
