Pros: Location amazing!!! The staff were polite and very attentive. Accommodation was excellent, with quality finishes. Afternoon tea a little underwhelming. Evening meal excellent but expensive.

A hidden gem of a hotel on a a beautiful private island

Pros: The location being on a private island was very unique and special. The hotel and grounds are lovely and we really enjoyed the spa, especially the heated recliners with views across the island. The food was excellent. The walks around the island were wonderful, and we loved seeing the Highland Cows and ponies.

Cons: At first we thought the evening eating arrangements would be too limited, with only a fixed price menu in the restaurant for dinner, but we booked this one night of our stay and has to be said the food was superb. We were so glad we did. We also had the bar menu for lunch and an early dinner another eve which was again very nice. The Deck Restaurant has limited opening hours the time of year we were staying. However we were more than happy with all the meals we ate on site despite initial reservations of limited options.

Pros: Great place overall and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was superb.

Cons: Minor issue with the cleanliness of the throw on the bed although the staff handled it really well.

Comfortable, good food and lots to explore on the isle.

Pros: The staff was attentive, strong shower and decent bathroom. Food was very good, beyond my expectations

Cons: The road into the property is narrow and quite long, so not a place you want to go out for dinners. A place to stay and explore the island at your leisure.
