Green Hotel

Pros: The hotel was undergoing some renovations while we were there but that didn't affect our stay at all super hotel with very attentive staff

Fairly happy with our stay particularly the gig in the Backstage venue at The Green

Great for gigs!

Pros: Went for a gig ( Backstage at the Green) which was excellent. Great seeing a top artist ( AFL) then a short walk back to your room ( via the bar admittedly)

Cons: Some of the common areas are a bit tired, but the rooms are currently being refurbed, ours was lovely, and I appreciate it can't all be done at once.

Friendly hotel in a good location.

Pros: Room was good and very big. Nice bathroom, very clean. Good location. Good breakfast included. We went to watch live music at Backstage so perfect that we could stay onsite. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at Jock's bar and the food was exceptional.

Cons: Nothing really - silly things. The bed kept rolling away from the wall - that's about it.

Perfect short stay to attend the music venue within the hotel

Pros: Location was perfect for us. Walking distance to Loch Leven & town shops. Food was good & service great

Cons: Hotel is undergoing refurbishment. It will be better for everyone once all the rooms are finished. Part of carpark flooded due to the rains

Pros: Pleased the rooms had been refurbished. Enjoyable breakfast and dinner. The menu for dinner was limited.

Cons: Most of the carpet in the corridors were a bit threadbare!

A most relaxing & enjoyable stay.

Pros: The location for us is perfect. The rooms are big, clean with comfortable beds. The staff are extremely helpful especially Shona & Susan. The breakfast & meals are very good all of which will attract us back.

Pros: Nice traditional hotel. Good meal in Jocks bar and huge tasty breakfast. All staff were helpful and friendly. Nice large room with bay window. Great for music events as the backstage venue is attached to the hotel. What an asset this venue is. We would stay again.

Cons: Yes the hotel is a bit tired but for the price we paid, unable to fault it as we thought it was good value for money overall.

Night away

Pros: The rooms have been all done up, making it more modern and cheerful! Everything matching is lovely! The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable! The new shower rooms are also lovely, makes a huge difference! The staff in all areas are lovely, chatty, smiley and friendly! I wasn't too well unfortunately and didn't manage down to breakfast, but my husband went down and explained and the staff gave him a tray and he brought breakfast up to the room, one of the staff even brought scrambled eggs up to the room which was lovely! Nothing was any bother! On checking out i was told that they hoped I'd feel better soon! So nice!

Cons: Our room was on the cold side and Jocks Bar (where we went for dinner) was freezing, the waitress (who was lovely) sat us beside the radiator and turned it up on high, but it was only a small heater so didn't really heat the place up much, other diners sat with coats or big jumpers on! Apart from that everything else was great! Oh and the coffee still isn't great!
