Pros: Easy to find and get to from the station. The host was very helpful with flexible check in arrangements. The room was clean and comfortable and had a good functioning ensuite. Cooked breakfast was great. I would stay again.

Cons: I didn't realise I had to pre-book breakfast as booking.com didn't really highlight this. Otherwise no complaints.

Consistently Wonderful

Pros: Have stayed at the Auld Mill several times and always a wonderful place to stay, excellent staff and management and a consistently clean and comfortable room. A real find on the east side of Dunfermline.

Cons: Would be nice to have the entrance road fixed but assume that is more than just a simple undertaking.

2nd visit in 2yrs. top class.

Pros: quiet location, very clean, excellent breakfast (too much in fact, so some wastage). I should have specified just 1 of everything,yet 2 appeared on plate.

Cons: one of neighbours had TV on loud and late, and room became too warm during the night,even though we had radiator turned off.

Lovely location, lovely room, lovely breakfast, very personable hosting; but spoilt by the amount of noise coming throug

Pros: The quiet, rural oasis was very peaceful and quiet, and yet it was conveniently close to the main road and the centre of Dunfermline. Very hospitable host. Room was clean, modern, well fitted out. Breakfast was lovely. The bar was welcoming and looked good (even though I didn’t use it).

Cons: There was insufficient sound absorbing and sound-proofing between the rooms. I could hear every flick of a light switch, foot step or putting down of a cup in rooms either side which meant I was constantly woken up throughout the night. Carpeting of the floor might help.

Pros: Great place at a great price. Huge comfortable bed. En suite with electric shower. Room lovely and warm and temperature easily controlled. It was immaculately clean. Bar area for a few drinks. Owner goes above and beyond ensuring everything is perfect. Plenty of parking. Be careful not to miss the small private road turning right opposite Arnold Clark. Will definitely be back.
