Perfect

Pros: Lovely hotel, our second time staying there. Staff are really friendly and the food was superb. Special mention must go out to Sam who was working behind the bar, never met such a polite and helpful staff member, he is a real gem to your hotel.

Short but very pleasant.

Pros: The staff very helpful and facilities were spotless. The whole hotel setting was lovely.

Cons: The check in procedure was very time consuming. Still waiting for room to be cleaned at 3:30pm

Good value for money, and a very comfortable stay.

Pros: Plenty of choice at breakfast. Room was a good size and clean, bed was very comfortable. Dinner menu had little vegetarian choice for main dishes. My friend enjoyed the swimming pool.

Cons: More vegetarian choices.

Very enjoyable stay.

Pros: Comfortable. Catered. For our dog. Staff were efficient but very friendly. The leisure facilities are top notch. We enjoyed our stay very much . Oh and the food was good.

Great getaway!

Pros: Great value for money. Room was very spacious, staff very friendly, and the facilities excellent

Cons: The dinner at the restaurant was overpriced and of low quality.

Historic, comfortable hotel with friendly staff and great facilities within good distance of the airport.

Pros: It’s a beautiful old mansion with a lot of history. It has a lovely swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which we made use of during our short stay. It is very handy for Edinburgh airport, just a short drive over the bridge and we were there in 20 mins or so. We were also able to charge our electric car free of charge during our stay.

Cons: The only complaint we have is the service during dinner. We sat for around half an hour before we were asked for our orders. We asked for more drinks but they never came. After asking twice again we eventually bought them from the bar ourselves. When the food did come it was really delicious. We can’t comment on the breakfast as we left early for the airport.

Me and my daughter stayed the night before we went to deep sea world, room was comfy

Pros: Comfortable big room with friendly staff the breakfast was fab and the 11am checkout was ideal to pop to swimming before leaving.

Cons: Did try charge me £17 to get into the swimming pool And then extra for towels .. until I questioned was this not ment to be included ( wich it was ) Dinner was over priced for how basic it was.
