Excellent

Pros: Good off road parking! Decent sized room with good shower. Really good restaurant with great service and food!

Pros: Lovely room. Nice, hot, freshly prepared breakfast.

Cons: The music from the reception was quite loud in our room and we had to go downstairs to let them know. They kindly reduced the volume, though it would seem the noise was somewhat localised to our room for some reason.

One night stay

Pros: Large family suite room was allocated for late booking, stunning room which looked newly refurbished. Comfy beds double and single. large bathroom with shower, all areas spotlessly clean. Late check in went very smoothly. Hotel was easy to find and had a large free car park at the rear. The lounge and bar dining areas looked excellent and modern.

Cons: The self serve buffet style breakfast service was poor, although numerous staff were present they seemed to lack any coordinated direction to ensure food, drinks glasses and cups etc were re stocked when empty. Some of the food stuff could be better presented and easier to access. Most of the people saw the funny side of it but it was an area that let the hotel down on this occasion.

Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable, the rooms are ideal for short stays. Breakfast was simple though adequate.

Pros: Convenient location for us visiting friends locally.

Cons: Only inconvenience was leaving the porch way light on which shone straight through the bedroom windows adjacent to the entrance.
