The hotel is close to the ferry terminal and is only 500 metres or so from Inverkeithing station. A bus runs regularly between the station and Edinburgh Airport. Trains also run frequently to the city of Edinburgh itself. As reflected in the price, the hotel’s rooms are not large. However, all of the rooms are en suite and comfortable. Pros: It was convenient as it was near my family and the shops and fish shop were literally around the corner from the Lodge.

Cons: What I didn't like was there was no breakfast service and no bar.

Pros: Perfect location, friendly staff, nice breakfast area

Pros: I was there for a funeral and the location was only 10 min walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: There was a double and a single bed in my room which was great. However the double bed was like sleeping on a bed of nails. It really needs a new mattress. The single bed was okay.

Cheap, cheerful & basic but perfect location and VFM.

Pros: Price. For the money, location (easy 2 mins walk from train station or 5 mins onto M90 so 20 mins to airport) this was excellent. It's not premium, expect more a clean backpackers hostel with independent rooms. Exceptionally functional. TV and kettle on room was nice touch.

Cons: Decor was a little old but for the price I didn't care.

Comfortable, positive, suitable, convenient

Pros: Lovely staff, super supportive and understanding. Good location to local town with small shops and quick simple drive to Edinburgh. Staff are very trusting and hospitable. Wifi reliable and building heated well

Cons: Heater did not work in room 9 but worked in room 22 perfectly

Excellent location for public transport users, helpful staff!

Pros: The staff were amazing, really helpful they did there best to make sure we had a good stay. My bedroom television was not working they straight away apologised and helped us move rooms within minutes.

Cons: The room and the bed could have been slightly bigger
