Lovely Inn, great location and good food.

Pros: Benessan Inn is a great place to stay if exploring the far south west of Mull. Rooms have recently been renovated and are very comfortable (although bathrooom was a little on the chilly side). Evening meal was great, as was the cooked breakfast. Cold options e.g. cereal are pretty basic but we weren't too bothered given the quality of the hot food. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Bunessan, the place to be on Mull

Pros: First visit to Mull. Decided against self-catering as shops few and far between. What a great find. Bunessan is an excellent location to visit Iona( we had a car) Fantastic hospitality here. Bedroom a good size. Food great: with GF options. Evening meals excellent. Breakfast very good. Lovely view from dining room. Thank you

Cons: Plenty of hot water but shower room a bit on the small side.

Great View

Pros: Big room with an amazing view! The food at the pub downstairs was excellent — a real bonus to have such tasty meals just a few steps away from our room!

Cons: The only downside was the mattress — we could really feel the springs, so it might be time for an upgrade.

Excellent!!

Pros: Fabulous location. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and management. Food was good and views from the restaurant are lovely.

Cons: Beer choice very limited - as a result the hotel owner kindly drove us to a real ale pub in the next village. World class customer service!!!
