Pros: We were looking for basic accommodation after the rugby at Murrayfield. The hostel was a hundred yards from the station and a short journey to Haymarket so was ideal. The Staff couldn't have been more helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we got organised to get in after the rugby. Great rooms, comfy beds and spotlessly clean. We'd definitely use the Linlithgow hostel again.

I’d stay here again but perhaps in a different room just to have a proper shower.

Pros: Everything was great, except the shower. Perfect location too.

Cons: The shower. The whole bathroom floor was flooded every time we took a shower.

Pros: Accommodation is in a good location. There is a Tesco right across the road and lots of cafes and pubs close by. There is a good amount of parking available. Instructions to get into the property and rooms were easy to follow. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Cons: The kitchenette and kitchen facilities were very small. A small fridge, kettle and microwave are available but no larger facilities so not suitable if you want to prepare meals.

Pros: My own private room as a solo business traveller. Quiet accommodation & very clean.

Cons: Nothing, but I had to help another guest to open her key box on her door. She didn't find it easy.

Pros: Easy check in Placement Kitchenette with help yourself shelf from other people's food. We added to the pile of goodies before we went.

Wonderful stay, amazing people.

Pros: The rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable and the stuff excellent! They helped us with a genuine kindness! The location of the hostel is within a 3-minutes walking distance from the railway station with trains to and from Edinburgh, even though Linlithgow merits the visit.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
