Pros: The room was exactly as advertised, small but enough room and access to a well equipped kitchen. Absolutely ideal for a one night stay. Outstanding value for money in Edinburgh. I would definitely book again for a one night stay

Pros: A great budget stay with well-considered facilities and a super easy check in process. Jack’s communication was really friendly and helpful. Kitchen is particularly well equipped - plates, cutlery, kettle, microwave and even things like wine glasses, oil, salt and pepper available for communal use. Sleeping and showering arrangements are totally private - it’s just the toilets, kitchen and lounge area that are shared - so this place feels like a mix between a hostel and a hotel. I needed somewhere simple, affordable and private to crash overnight and it ticked all those boxes for me.

Pros: Everything was well organized and the attendant was super polite and attentive. Although the bathroom was shared, it was always clean and easy to use. The room is quite small but comfortable.

Great for the value in this city

Pros: Location was good and the shower in the room was great. I think the price makes it worth it.

Cons: There was little noise from neighbours (they were not noisy) but i think is normal in this kind of house. No outside noise because i was under the ground level. I would be perfect to have a toilet inside the room but there were 2 toilest outside to use so i never had a problem using them.

Pros: Lovely little hostel, perfect for a short stay. The rooms were pretty cosy for what they were and everything was kept very clean. It was a nice location too, with a few little cafes and restaurants nearby!

Cons: I do wish there were proper luggage lockers just so leaving my bag felt more safe. Also, I was there at a quiet time, I think, but I think noise levels would absolutely depend on who else is staying there.

Pros: Did exactly what it said on the tin. Room was cosy and clean and the shower was nice and hot with good pressure. Shared bathroom was also nice and clean and never had to wait for it.

Pros: Clean, simple room, just as described. The shared kitchen was useful and nice and clean.

Pros: Excellent location only 15/20 minute walk to the centre

Pros: Location was perfect for my trip...spotlessly clean warm and cosy....shared loo was always available and clean....kitchen facilities great....

Cons: The stairs...not for old biddys
