A wonderful little trip
Pros: I travelled to Edinburgh as a solo traveller. The check in process was easy and all amenities were clean and in good order. Beds were lovely and private - I stayed in a female only room and it was great. The staff were fantastic, the facilities were clean and the location was ideal.
Cons: My bed could have been a little more comfortable but it was cosy, clean and there was more than enough room and privacy.

Convenient location and a comfortable stay
Pros: Rooms were clean and thoughtfully designed with ample USB ports and a spacious individual locker. Other lodgers were really considerate and friendly, which made staying here comfortable and getting a good sleep possible. Staff were also really friendly and helpful. I would book again if I ever return to Edinburgh.

Pros: very comfortable private pods with their own curtain, lighting, socket and shelf. Towel and bedding provided. a comfortable lounge/kitchen area too. This was a comfortable oasis in the city centre, ideal to rest and recharge when exploring Edinburgh.

Thoroughly recommend for solo travellers
Pros: Located in the city centre, near the train station it offers a safe and pleasant accommodation for the solo traveler. It has all the facilities (including USB-C sockets for charging iPhones in your pod and free towels as well as free coffee and tea in the kitchen and laundry facilities, cutlery and plates, glasses, mugs and cooking facilities). The staff are very helpful and friendly. Rachel was a perfect host during my stay - plenty of useful advice and always ready to help solve any problems.
Cons: Difficult to find what is not to like when all the other available hotels for solo travelers in Edinburgh have prices starting at £200 a night!

Great value for money in a fantastic location
Pros: This location is really great. Bathrooms and pods super clean. Mattress a little too soft and thin so for me felt like I was sleeping straight onto the board underneath so if you have a back problem not great. Exceptional value for money though.
Cons: Everything done via codes so no actual staff to meet.

Quiet and secure
Pros: The sleeping pods were very cosy and the room was quiet even when others were up and about. Locker in room felt secure. 10/10 would stay here again 😊
Cons: Storage before/ after check out is a shared locker and not much space when busy.

Private POD with sharing facilities
Pros: Perfect location and cosy \
Cons: Stop asking these stupid questions...please. Most people know what they're booking and even though they complain about it

Pros: Good location, felt safe as a solo female traveller in a 4-bed mixed dorm, very quiet. Two rooms of 4x people share the same bathroom that contains 2x showers and 1x toilet which I thought would be a bit chaotic but I genuinely never saw anybody and both rooms were full.
Cons: I found it a bit unclear working out which room I was staying in from the booking instructions, but I worked it out in the end. I think that could be a bit clearer.

Overall really good, would stay again, good hostel.
Pros: The private entry code for both the building and the room was great for security. The location was fantastic, walking distance from most things and including the train station. The pod itself was visually private, meaning there was no keeping other people awake with your light at night and a good place to wind down. The curtains on the pods were decently thick, helping insulate slightly. And the shelf and hooks inside the pods were great (just wish there were more hooks) The food labels were great, a simple idea that works well in a communal kitchen. The sensor activated floor light was great for coming and going from your pod at night and not wanting the bright lights to wake people. The bathroom was decently clean considering the amount of foot traffic going through everyday. And there were QR codes in there to let the team know if they were in need of an unplanned clean.
Cons: Noise was expected, but just a warning, you can hear people coming and going from the rooms next door as well, but everyone was incredibly respectful of the shared space and kept noise to a minimum. The only issue was the window cause one of the doors to slam, so getting woken up early by repeated slamming as people came a went wasn't great. The beds were decent but not fantastic, again for the price and location it was worth it, but if you've got any physical issues, I wouldn't stay more then a night or two, also my mattress kept trying to slide out of the bunk during the night. Be careful if you've got a top bunk the curtain from the bottom bunk can sit on the step and make the ladder slippery when you're getting up or down. There are plugs in the walls of the pod but only USB ports, and the USB C port I had you had to wiggle just right to get it to work. Only one thin pillow and no option for extra blankets, for someone who gets cold easily I would have paid for an extra blanket while I was staying.

Lovely one night stay in Edinburgh at a good location
Pros: The location was great. Check in process was very easy. The place was very clean and offered a nice comfortable place to sleep for a night. I also liked that the lockers were code operated providing an additional level of safety. They provide ear plugs and masks for free which is a nice touch.
Cons: The beeping sound when entering the code was loud, this could be silenced. Its especially disturbing if someone is opening their locker when others are sleeping as the sound is loud. For a place that requires the code to be punched in on a number of doors, I noticed a shortage of hand sanitisers - this is very unhygienic given the number of people going in and out. The pods themselves were comfortable but definitely a bit tiny. Not for claustrophobic people.
