Friendly and pretty hostel

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. The common areas are large and comfortable. Very good price.

Cons: Noisy dorms, but that's to be expected. Far from public transportation, especially if you have a lot of luggage to carry.

Great vibe and fantastic value

Pros: Great place to stay especially if travelling solo. Great age range from young to old (but young at heart).Helpful staff. Great value. Lovely part of Glasgow.

Cons: Lots of stairs and the building is worn BUT that's a small downside for staying in an amazing beautiful building in a historic part of the city.

A nice comfortable bed and warm shower for when going to concerts in Glasgow

Pros: Very good value for money, especially given the location for concerts. Nice and warm room, very comfy beds and nice hot showers.

Cons: This is a very small thing but we have been before and they used to have a tea and coffee making section in the reception that we really appreciated just to have a little tea before bed. But they don’t have it any more and being away for one night we didn’t want to buy milk and tea so that was a little bit disappointing.

Nicest hostel in peaceful location!

Pros: Such a beautiful hostel, with picturesque lounges for reading, etc. Very clean, and the staff were friendly. The location is great - peaceful, by the park, but also walking distance from most things. Honestly nicer than many hotels I've been to.

Cons: Check-in time at 4 was inconvenient...It would have been appreciated if there was a place to leave bags prior to that, but reception was empty.
