Tranquil Haven Murrayfield

A tranquil haven, well-named

Pros: Dark, quiet, spacious, tasteful, comfortable bed, room well-appointed, good TV, separate adjoining room allowed one partner to wake before the other, well situated for both local amenities and access to town, host perfect balance of friendly and unobtrusive.

Cons: Would have preferred en-suite but facilities were totally private and dressing-gowns were provided.

Pros: Host was very helpful and easy to communicate with

Pros: Our host Carol was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Our room and private bathroom was immaculate. Would definitely stay here again 😊

Cons: Having to walk down the shared hallway to our private bathroom

Pros: Situated in a quite location with ample parking in the street. Everything was clean and comfortable. Public transport to the city center within 5 mins walking distance . Carol was very helpful too😀

Pros: Fab location for us, extremely clean and tidy and a very welcoming host. It would have been a ten but I love a soft pillow and these were too big and too solid. Maybe have one big pillow and one softer one? Just my preference though and I wood definitely stay here again.

Pros: The room is spacious and well decorated, there was tea and coffee and the host was lovely, welcoming and couldn't do enough for me. I was there for work conference at Murrayfield and so this location was perfect as it is only a short walk. The space was immaculately clean. I would stay again if I was going to Murrayfield for an event, concert or Rugby!

Pros: All facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Location was nice and quiet with good pub food close by. Host was very welcoming and friendly.

Cons: Bathroom was private but not ensuite. Unable to lock our door.

Perfect for our needs

Pros: Perfect for our visit to the city for the Tattoo and not inflated prices like everywhere else. The room was lovely and would consider booking again if needed.

Cons: Breakfast would've been nice but wouldn't stop me booking again.
