Beautiful house!

Pros: House was stunning, every room was decorated beautifully, it had all the facilities you need including fast WiFi and smart tv. The terrace was great for enjoying an afternoon in the sun. The kitchen is huge and is fully kitted out. Location is remote but has excellent road links and ample parking. There were taxi numbers provided by the host.

Cons: We had to buy bin bags and kitchen roll, minor points but would have been great to have them provided seeing as we were responsible for keeping the place clean.

Great stay on Islay in Machrie View House!

Pros: Great House, beautiful view over the bay. Located at the end of the runway of Islay Airport. Very comfortable stay, nothing to complaint at all.

Fantastic house - perfect for large family stay

Pros: Self catered accomodation - how can you ask about the breakfast

Cons: Booking sent the owners instruction manual the day after we left the property

Paid a premium for using Booking.com, contact the property directly for a much better price.

Pros: Rooms very well appointed, beds supper comfortable with nice linen. Plenty of space and generally well equipped.

Cons: Most activities, pubs, places to eat were a car ride away, walking to the nearest beach (which was great) took 40 minutes.

Pros: Exklusive Unterkunft in der Nähe Port Ellen. Top-Ausstattung, Strandnähe, toller Ausblick.

Cons: Heizung war nicht regulierbar. Zimmer waren zu warm.

Beautiful views, comfortable stay.

Pros: The house was well situated between port Ellen and Bowmore, making it an ideal location for exploring the island. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Cons: Seating in the lounge didn’t comfortably fit 8 people, and a fireplace would have been lovely.

Pros: Das Haus selbst, aber auch die Ausstattung sind neu und technisch auf dem letzten Stand. Die Einrichtung ist luxeriös und der freie Blick aufs Meer ist unglaublich. Das war mit Abstand das beste Ferienhaus, was ich bisher gebucht hatte.
