A beautiful property in a very special location

Pros: We were travelling with my 94 year old mother with limited mobility. Ralph went above and beyond in meeting her needs, providing a raised toilet seat and frame, a shower seat, and a wing backed armchair for my mother’s use. We loved being so close to a pebble beach on a secluded bay, perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. We took a boat trip from Oban with my mother. My husband and I hired bikes and cycled on Lismore island. We walked to the Pierhouse Hotel to eat one evening. The house had everything we needed and was beautifully styled with lovely views out to sea. We would have no hesitation in returning for a longer stay.

Cons: The daily rate for short stays is much higher than for longer stays. There may be good reasons for this in that the cleaning costs remain the same however long the stay. However, the availability of the house may be what is preventing the client from booking a longer stay and it is frustrating in those circumstances to be paying a very high daily rate when you wanted to stay longer and would have booked for longer at a cheaper rate if it had been available.

Pros: Well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Lots of space for five adults - with room for more. Really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Everything! We were blown away with the house, property, location and price. We were excited about the bowl of fruit and biscuits and soccer ball provided. We loved Ryan “aka Bob” he was super friendly and hilarious. Loved our stay!

Pros: A beautiful cottage, very cozy feeling and they have thought of everything. The cottage is well equipped and very clean. The location is perfect, gives you the feeling that you are far into nature but actually you are pretty close to everything you need. The owners are easy to get in touch with and are willing to accommodate you when you ask for something. We would have loved to stay longer but unfortunately for us the cottage was booked the next day. We will definitely come back if we have the chance.

Pros: Beautiful cottage with stunning views and amazing walks / beach nearby. Cottage has everything you need, and is warm comfy and super clean.

A great family gathering after Christmas and over the New Year.

Pros: It's a lovely position with ever changing views of the sea and a walk from the door that was enjoyed by us all. There were five adults in our party and the property had lots of space, especially in the living area. Everything we needed had been provided and there was plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. When we had a problem with the woodburner the owner came to help and the problem was soon sorted.

Cons: Ideally, an additional (small) sharp knife for preparing vegetables would have been nice.

Pros: Gorgeous cottage with beautiful views and lovely walk into the village, 10 Mins along the single track road or half and hour or so along the beach and onto a scenic footpath around the headland. Extremely tranquil location, but with a delicious fish restaurant and bar just a short walk.
