Fantastic.

Pros: Second visit, fantastic and cosy at a great price. I was travelling late and the host responded quickly via email to say its no problem at all. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Lovely and comfortable and Very good value for money. Perfect location on the Harbour and parking right outside or on the Harbour front 20mts away. Good Pubs and Restaurants on the Harbour front. Couldn't be better and no hassle. Hugh is a perfect chap and nothing is a bother

Pros: Very clean room, very central location! The host is very kind, polite, and always available. The port and a pub with some very friendly locals are located below the property! Highly recommended!

Be back this year for sure.

Pros: No breakfast available or expected, everything else was first class.

Pros: Hugh was easy to get hold of to show me to my room and very helpful with how to work the coffee machine and blinds. Room was ideal for the 1 night stay i had.

Pros: The Starfish is conveniently located right in the centre of Tarbert, just off the harbour front. Hugh, the owner, was very welcoming, showed us around and how to work the coffee/tea machine. The room was lovely, tasteful simple decoration and warm and clean. Free parking right outside was a bonus. Hugh recommended the Ca'Dora cafe nearby which served us the best coffee and delicious breakfast with a fab view over Tarbert harbour.

Cons: We booked for a night between Christmas and New Year, so it was very quiet! No restaurants were open in the evening because it was Twixmas, but the two pubs were friendly, and we got some lovely cheese and snacks from the Co-op. Could have done with another blanket, but we had chosen the coldest night of the year... There are a few steps to navigate up to the main door, which can be a bit tricky with heavy bags, but nothing too arduous. (I wish I had paid more attention to the coffee machine demo, because by the next morning we had forgotten! I had to look up the instructions on the internet!).

Amazingly handy & clean

Pros: On such a freezing cold night it was lovely to come in to a fantastic warm welcome from Hugh and into such a clean and warm room.

Cons: Nothing to say, it was fantastic all round!
