Comfy cosy stay in the heart of the town.

Pros: Friendly check in, charming property with a great history. Very spacious and well fitted room, slightly dated but still nicely decorated. Extremely comfy bed and crisp linen. The glasses and bottle opener were a lovely touch. The bathroom was also very spacious and well appointed, lovely hot shower. Parking round the back, not the easiest to manouvere with several cars already parked but thats me being very picky. Good selection at breakfast in a lovely light dining room with great service. Very dog friendly.

Simple but clean accommodation with great hosts and breakfast.

Pros: In an area with limited accommodation options it would be easy to overlook this property but that would be a mistake. Friendly hosts, spacious rooms which were spotlessly clean (if a little dated), and a great home-cooked breakfast.

Cons: Rooms were a little cold but there is heating which has to be switched on manually.

The room was perfect the landlady was very nice gave us extra time to check out which suited us would stay again no prob

Pros: The location is perfect for what we wanted the room was really big and nice and very clean it a lovely overnight stay.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike really lovely.

My second overnight stay and as before, it fitted my needs very well indeed.

Five Stars. Made me feel very welcome, first time in Scotland, wasn't disappointed.

Pros: The breakfast was generous I had a Scottish breakfast and there was plenty. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had just looked on the internet and picked the accommodation as I was going on to do a workshop for a long weekend the following day a few miles away.

Pros: Fantastic place to stay can’t recommend it enough. Welcomed as if one off the family by Ele who could not do enough for us.

Cons: The property brings back so many memories of my growing up around the area. Room was great and clean, good hot shower had. A braw breakfast in the morning helped for the drive ahead.
