We had a great time in a warm, beautiful house. The garden is in process of restoration right now.

Pros: FAB location, lovely old house with lovely old clean and comfortable rooms. It's very cheap for the area so don't expect any frills.

Cons: Door entry is fiddly. No brekkies, but Brambles in the town is incredible and just a shortish walk away.

More serviced apartment than homely BnB

Pros: Walkable to the centre, easy to get in and rooms are nice . Ensuite bathroom in room 1 looks a bit 80s/90s style but works ok. Ignore the earlier reviews pre 2025. No more breakfast, no more personal check in. This is all done remotely and key boxes

Cons: Older reviews and pics suggest breakfast, hosts are available like a normal BnB. That's not the case . Price seems too high for what you get

The most beautiful room I have ever stayed in.

Pros: One of the most beautiful hotel rooms I have ever had. Absolutely spotless and a view to die for. The hotel room has beautiful tea cups and wine glasses, even a mini fridge. Will definitely come back.

Clean, cosy and well equipped.

Pros: My room was small but perfectly equipped and very cosy. Janice is lovely and very helpful. I particularly liked the multi plug / USB charger by the bed and the wooden shutters that blocked out all light and sound. The radiators were easy to use, so I could have the room at the perfect temperature for me, and the bathroom was spacious and had its own radiator. There were plenty of mirrors and the bed was comfortable. Not luxury, but very fair for the price. Everything was beautifully clean. The location is good and it's easy to find. I drove back into town for my evening meal, and it was a short drive. The private car park is very handy too. It's easy to get in and the instructions for self registering / getting keys were straightforward.

Cons: I would have liked the option of breakfast on site, but this wasn't available. I was initially a bit disappointed when I walked into the room and saw it was small with no view, but it was extremely cosy and comfortable so I soon got over that.

Pros: The terrace in front of the property oversees the lake, beautiful scenery, nice room, good beds, clean bathroom, helpful hosts.

Cons: - the room is pretty small but we had everything we needed

Pros: It a very lovely mainson with a well maintenanced garden. The check-in was simple and clear.

Cons: I would fancy some insect-nets on the window because of the many spiders. airating the room was a bit of a gambling without

Would definately stay here again good value for money

Pros: Fantastic country house with great views only a 5 minute walk into town
