Stunning Location

Pros: Beautiful property in a stunning location right on the shore of the loch. Marcin, the owner was very welcoming, very knowledgeable and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Very dog friendly.

Cons: Access is via a single track road with a few potholes to watch for.

Pros: It has an award for the most Unique Hotel in the UK. I definietly agree with this award! Lovely place. Staff was so helpful. Miss your dog already :)

Pros: The lovely house was amazing the view to die for and the viewpoint was amazing to sit there with a glass of wine and chill and see the seals too.

Cons: There really was nothing to dislike loved all of our stay would return in a heartbeat it’s not often in these times you can rate a place and Host so highly.

Pros: Breakfast fab cooked - selection of different things together - so different. location great- seal watching on the loch and so pretty. walking good and woods near. village not too far and great base to travel around. Staff very knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble.

Cons: Not long enough.

Pros: Absolutely stunning location, the room was beautiful and the whole propery was spotlessly clean. We were able to walk out onto decking directly from patio doors in our room. The room was tastefully furnished, bed was comfortable and the whole vibe of the house was just lovely. The breakfast we got was very nice and there was complete peace and quiet throughout our stay, which was bliss. There is a bird table in the grounds and it was just filled with birds the whole time we were there. We saw a red squirrel from our room and also saw otters and seals. If you love peace and quiet and the great outdoors, there is nothing you wouldn't enjoy about this place. Marcin was very pleasant, friendly and helpful and the dog, Storm, is just stunning - and very well behaved.

Pros: Stunning location, immersed in nature. Fab host. The most comfy bed ever! Loved the passion and expert knowledge our host offered with regard to the nature he works so hard to protect. Wish we could have stayed longer & seen more.

Cons: Breakfast. (Sorry). I know most people would love the originality of the Polish style breakfast, but it wasn’t for us. Not keen on onion and experimental food - had hoped for standard Scottish fare. Having said that - I know our lovely host has won awards for spectacular food - we’re just fussy old-fashioned oldies!

Relaxing getaway

Pros: The house is set in a stunning area with amazing views of the loch. The living room and dining room are very nicely decorated and Marcin was welcoming and very helpful in finding places to eat and things to do. We very kindly got upgraded to a bigger room which was greatly appreciated, having the bigger bathroom made such a difference. A really lovely relaxing break, highly recommend.

Pros: I booked a surprise weekend away for me and my fiancé for his birthday, somewhere remote, peaceful and full of tranquility, the lochwood guest house ticked all those things! Location was perfect, the room we had was stunning and the view was unreal ! Stunning views of Loch goil. Marcin, our host, fantastic guy ! Very welcoming, pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable!
