St Ives Boutique Hotel

Pros: The fact that Kenny & his darling wife went out of their way on my behalf as they were closed for the New year. I really want to thank them so much. Every moment I was there, the family took care of me. The breakfast filled me up, right up to me having an evening meal with my sister and her family.

Cons: The fact the St Ives Hotel is that much in demand you need to book well in advance. 😀😀😀

Pros: The friendliness of Kenny and his partner was most welcome. They were very kind in looking up local transport details for us and were very easy to communicate with. Their hotel is right on the West Bay esplanade with amazing views across the water and of the hills.

Great place to stay in Dunoon - very near the centre, but out of the way.

Pros: Breakfast was a good varied choice, being just enough and not over the top as some places, where feel obligated to finish all and overeat.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Good food but no vegetarian fried breakfast on the menu but eggs were delicious. Excellent location. Easy walk to ferry and town.

A Very Enjoyable Stay!

Pros: We liked Absolutely Everything about Staying here! From the moment, we walked through the front door, to the sad moment when we had to eventually leave! The Hospitality of Both Lesley and Kenny was indeed Exceptional! They Both couldn’t do enough to make our Stay enjoyable, and nothing was ever too much bother! They Both truly went above and beyond all of our expectations! They are both Very Welcoming with Lesley showing me up to our room, and explaining everything I needed to know, about the hotel, and Dunoon. Her hospitality in the dining-room at breakfast time is indeed Excellent too! Kenny cooks the Best Breakfast I’ve tasted, whether it’s a Cooked Scottish Breakfast or his delicious porridge, and all of the food is so well-presented on the plates too! He continues to serve in the bar in the evenings, and once again provides a warm, friendly welcome, and Service! We would definitely recommend this property, and would absolutely 100% Stay again!!

Pros: The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, they gave us info about the area and recommendations for pubs / restaurants. Great views across the loch from the breakfast room or lounge. Breakfasts were spot on.

Cons: Nothing, it was just as we expected.

Lovely hotel in a prime location.

Pros: Nice hotel in a prime location off the West Bay promenade. Lesley and Kenny were great hosts, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room and a tasty breakfast.

Cons: We stayed in ‘Mull’. The en-suite facilities were a little ‘compact’.

Loved the sound of the waves crashing along the shore line. Definitely one to come back to again.

Pros: Breakfast was really good. Plenty of options and good quality. Location was good for town centre and right on the beach front for walks. Comfortable lounge to relax with a good book.
