Upper Grove 2 Bedroom Apartment - Edinburgh

We had a lovely time in Edinburgh and will return to the apartment.

Pros: The property was immaculate very clean and spacious. The apartment is exactly like the photograph. It was all brand new. The beds were very comfy. The location was perfect.

Cons: There was nothing to not like about the property. It was perfect.

Pros: Spotless, comfortable and super close to the city! Amazing host

Ideal for 1 or 2 night stay for short city break/event

Pros: Quick replies and clear communication from the owner. Able to easily locate which key safe to use as owner sent clear images. Apartment itself was lovely and very clean with lots of extras thrown in such as tea/coffee/biscuits/shampoo, etc. Beds very comfortable and plenty of towels to use and shower was pretty decent.

Cons: Parking - potentially an oversight on us but saw that parking was available and didn’t explore any further until day of travelling; its meter parking and is open for anyone to use so unfortunately, we had to park 15-20 minute walk away as there was none available when we arrived. We wouldn’t have figured out charges anyway if being honest as wasn’t particularly clear and we’re not used to city parking. The outside, entry and stairs up (no lift but not a problem for us) did make me question where I’d booked initially - there are industrial size bins outside that were in need of emptying so the smell wasn’t very pleasant but as soon as walked through the front door, it looked like a completely different building but first impression wasn’t the greatest - but the apartment itself was fantastic.

Great all round

Pros: Lovely modern apartment. Shad let us check in early, no fuss or drama, and was very responsive to messages. Very clean and in a great location

Cons: Bit worried when we saw the state of the communal hallway but were happy once we got inside the apartment

Pros: Very very clean and the biscuits and chocolate suger,tea and coffee left was an amazing touch too. We will definitely stay again thankyou very much x

Exceptional stay

Pros: Exceptionally clean and spacious, super lovely and understanding host. Loved the whole experience. The little treats and the drinks in the fridge were just a cherry on top!

Cons: Nothing. The property is amazing. The only thing that was a little absent was a kitchen table, so not one for big cook-ups if that is what you are after. But it is just down to the configuration of the flat & everything is true to how it is in photos.

Pros: Excellent facilities and immaculately clean. A lot of thought was put into making us welcome with little extras left for us which was a nice touch. Everything we needed was supplied. Shad is a great host and very helpful.

Pros: I loved this apartment absolutely stunning. Very clean and tidy. Perfect for my 40th birthday and easy to get to the city centre to see the fringe. Highly recommend this apartment. I booked this, and for the price during the fringe festival, it was an absolute bargain. Will definitely be booking again. Host fantastic to no question unanswered and prompt response to any question I had. Please consider this if you plan a trip to Edinburgh. Just an beautiful clean apartment and beautifully decorated throughout.

Excellent and well presented inner city apartment

Pros: Every room was very clean and beautifully presented. Host offered coffee/tea/ fresh milk and yummy biscuits and treats. Really lovely touch. Also host was immediate with responses for any query😊

Cons: No wifi, but 4G connection was good enough. Would be great if host connected wifi throughout.
