Lovely two bedrooms

Comfortable stay in lovely apartment

Pros: Apartment is spacious, clean & comfortable. Located on a quiet road and close walking distance to Haymarket station. Easy communication with hosts - slightly later check out was much appreciated!

Cons: Could do with a mirror in the front bedroom / full length mirror. Kitchen was well equipped, but no tea towel and we were asked to wash up any crockery used (which is totally fine) so would've been handy to have one.

Comfortable, warm stay in a nice spacious apartment

Pros: Spacious, 2 bedrooms with separate dining area. Nice and warm, in fact had to turn the radiator down Fairly close to tram line, buses also run in the area.

Cons: As with many of the older buildings in Edinburgh has single glazing so road/street noise outside although not a busy street. Entrance/hallway not the most welcoming but I appreciate that’s probably up to whoever owns the building as it’s outside of the actual apartment

Would stay again

Pros: Was in a quiet location.. Very spacious. Comfortable beds

Cons: There was no pressure on the boiler ( wasn’t aware for a while) so no heating and was -1 so wasn’t ideal. Did sort it out myself

Very enjoyable stay in a comfortable flat in a central location.

Pros: Location was great - close to shops, pubs and restaurants and close to the canal for a lovely walk.

Cons: The small bedroom didn’t have a mirror so it made it difficult getting ready for going out . We were 3 women trying to get ready with only one mirror.

Great apartment, very clean, would recommend

Pros: The apartment is lovely inside, very spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and plenty towels provided. Tea and coffee making facilities also provided. It was easy to get the keys from the lock box and the host provided all the information needed.

Excellent apartment but check out the parking

Pros: Good location, a very attractive, clean, bright apartment. It's very well set up - good equipment (crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils; cooker, microwave, kettle etc). Nice touch to provide liquid soap. The entrance before you get to the apartment looks dingy! but don't be put off - the place itself was really good.

Cons: I asked about car parking and was told there was plenty - yes, there is, but it's either permit parking or pay-at-machine with a maximum stay of 4 hours. Free between 5.30pm and 8.30am and at weekends; but it cost over £18 for 4 hours' parking on a Friday afternoon. I'd like to have known that, given that I specifically asked about parking. If I'd needed to park more than 4 hours, I'd have had to use a multi-storey somewhere, not very convenient. Fortunately, my stay was Friday-Sunday.

Recommended - great area - easy to reach from Haymarket train station

Pros: Photos on website accurately reflect the property in real life. The heating was on for us which was a bonus as the weather was a bit wet and windy so we arrived dishevelled and a bit cold. Great bathroom. Selection of tea and coffee left also some milk sachets which we didn't see so we bought milk. At the end of the road a a good few funky cafes - seemed like a studenty area and felt very safe there. 15 / 20 minute walk in to the Grassmarket along a main road so very easy to access the main historic town.

Cons: Would have liked a welcome pack - simple sheets with instructions on how to use the equipment in the kitchen, recommendations of good local sights / spots to see /visit The external door didn't have a lock to it - it should have had but it was missing - this made me feel a little vulnerable in our flat although the hosts reassured us that we were in a good area. Personally felt that the cups in the kitchen are not a good shape - mugs would be better.

Lovely stay in lovely city!

Pros: Spacious apartment in ideal location with comfortable beds, and cosy living room! Loved the visiting fox in the garden 🙂.

Cons: Just a few more things would be useful, in kitchen, tea towel for drying dishes, washing up bowl or plug for sink, as could only wash up with water constantly running, also larger rubbish bin, but understand it's a small kitchen, though that could go in cupboard under sink! Extra toilet rolls also as there were four adults, we did need more!

Pros: Very clean, spacious, perfect location, easy instructions to access the property.
