Wyndford Riverside House

A beautiful, modern, luxurious family property, a home from home

Pros: We will definitely be staying at this accommodation again. Cosy, comfortable and the host staff were so friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful with everything that a family would need for a relaxing break.

Cons: We loved it all! There was nothing about this property we didnt like.

Great base for nearby Engine Works venue

Pros: The house was clean and spacious, a few minutes walk from the nearby venue Engine Works where we were attending a wedding. The area was quiet and there's a big Tesco supermarket nearby which was useful! Checking in and out was simple.

Cons: Would love if there were a few simple cooking supplies such as salt, pepper and oil as it's not convenient to have to buy these for only a short stay. En-suite and downstairs bathroom door were quite difficult to open and close.

Perfect stay, would definitely recommend

Pros: Very comfortable rooms and nicely situated in a quiet area, good communication from staff so that we could go about our visit with no issues.

Cons: No issues. Would have liked if there was a fence/ gate near the side of the house to keep the pup in view as I was a bit worried of someone opening the front gate.

Bridal Team Accommodation

Pros: We were staying for my daughter's wedding at nearby Engine Works. The house was beautiful and a great base for us to get ready. Well equipped and very comfortable

Cons: We were a bit nervous on arriving as the area looked run down. However the house itself was beautiful.

Lovely accommodation nice and clean, central location

Pros: Lovely accommodation, lovely garden after lovely man sorted it, great comfortable beds and pillows

Cons: Shame there were no hand towels or mirrors in bathrooms, and no salt or pepper in kitchen, tv only worked through I player

Enjoyable stay, would not hesitate to use again.

Pros: Location - possible to walk towards town via riverside and botanic gardens, large supermarket within about 5 mins walk. Freshly decorated, good appliances. Cheerful and helpful response from landlord. Watching squirrels from lounge.

Wonderful location and beautiful house

Pros: It was great. Large house Clean and modern Had a bathtub and a shower which was great Large kitchen with all amenities Parking rught outside Beautiful clean house extremely spacious

Cons: The only thing was there are no mirrons in the bathrooms or the showerrooms. Only one mirron in the house nd that was in the main bedroom. Please add some mirrors for the ladies :) And no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no cooffe pods, no sugar, no shampoo or body wash. A little bit of these things make all the difference to the guests:)

Newly refurbished 3bed house

Pros: This is a newly refurbished 3bed house with spacious open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. It was convenient for the event we need to go to. There is free parking. Although you cannot see the river there is a nice path besides the river which leads to an aqueduct and a flight of locks. The kitchen had every thing we needed for the two cooked breakfasts and simple supper.

Would definitely re book

Pros: Recently refurbished. Exceptionally clean, extremely comfortable beds, lovely fresh, crisp bed linen. Perfect location 600 metres from wedding venue Engine Room tho we did take Uber as we were running late! Great value for 6 people. 15 mins from airport. Lovely big enclosed garden, We were a family of five so would have needed 3 hotel rooms for one night, Wyndford was way better and less expensive than hotel. Ni city noise as situated in suburban cul-de-suc. Great for airport and Glasgow city centre 15 mins away.

gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit ausserhalb Glasgows

Pros: Die Anfahrt zum Haus hat gut geklappt. Neben dem Haus haben wir einen Parkplatz gefunden. Der Schlüssel befand sich in einem Schlüsselkasten, somit war das unkompliziert. Das Haus ist recht gross und modern eingerichtet, wie auf den Fotos ersichtlich. Die Zimmer sind im oberen Stockwerk, ebenso ein Badezimmer bzw. eines zusätzlich en suite. Das geteilte Badezimmer hatte kleinere Mängel, aber es war ok. Die Zimmer waren unterschiedlich gross, von in Ordnung bis sehr grosszügig. Die Betten waren bequem, es war ruhig im Quartier. Das untere Stockwerk haben wir eigentlich nicht genutzt, da wir nur 1 Nacht da waren und am nächsten Morgen gleich weitergefahren sind.
