Pros: I had an amazing stay at the Albyn Townhouse. It is within walking distance (or easy public transit) from the city center. The room was very cozy, well decorated and the bed was super comfortable! Lydie was an excellent host, always very responsive and gave great recommendations for things to do in Edinburgh.

Great, enjoyable stay

Pros: We loved everything about it. Right away when we saw the room, it reminded us of home. The bed was so comfortable. There was also an extra comforter in case we needed it when the weather got too cold. The location was great as well. Just a short walk to the bus stops that could take you to all of Edinburgh’s must see spots. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Comfortable, convenient and enjoyable for a weekend break

Pros: Charming townhouse, tastefully decorated and a friendly host. Plenty of local restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Close to lots of bus routes too which meant the car could stay in the car park. A great base for visiting Edinburgh and ideal for Murrayfield which we also enjoyed!

Cons: Coffee machine / pods were great but perhaps a couple of instant sachets would have been good for a quick drink.
