Elegant and comfortable.

Pros: Amazing. I can’t say otherwise. Elegance and attention to details. Olga has been great. Amazing breakfast. I would love to stay again.

Pros: Georgian House is more than just a place — it is an experience of warmth, charm, and genuine care. The hearts behind Gregorian House welcome you with affection, the rooms are spotless, and every detail in the decoration shows thought and love. Breakfast is pampered and delightful. Words or ratings could never capture its true essence — it is beyond any scale. Without a doubt, should we return to Edinburgh, this would be the place we would choose again, the place we would call home.

Great Hosts and Great Breakfast

Pros: When we arrived, Jim gave us a very thorough and entertaining tour. In the morning, Olga's breakfast was fantastic. Thank you, both!

Very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, well looked after.

Pros: Beautiful property which is looked after by a fabulous couple. Decor was lovely.

Cons: Shower was a little disappointing as pressure was slow plus the showerhead didn’t stay in place.

Comfortable fancy room in a Georgian Townhouse in the heart of Bruntsfield, Edinburgh

Pros: Lovely welcome from James even though I disturbed his tea! Lovely room (2) and big comfortable bed. Excellent location in Bruntsfield. Fresh flowers were lovely. The touches like fresh water and kettle etc were great. Nice lighting in the room.

Cons: There was no shampoo or conditioner but I asked if there was any I could have and was provided with some. Shower was a bit cold and I had been warned not to fiddle with the buttons so I didn't! Perhaps I should have been braver! Breakfast was beautifully laid out- I needed to state what time I wanted it on the first morning, understandable. Didn't get the chance the second day so felt I had to get up similar time,. It was a continental breakfast only- what was provided was lovely but no choices. I must have missed this info as I had hoped for eggs/ a hot breakfast. It would be good to have an outside light in the entrance porch as it was very dark and needed phone torch light to use the key to get in, after dark. I think it does feel expensive for £350 for 2 nights, and whilst it was a lovely room- I didn't get to spend much time there which is of course entirely my own fault due to purpose of my visit. These are all tiny things, it was a very lovely stay.

Pros: hosts were very kind and welcoming, also breakfast was amazing.

Pros: Easy distance into the city, beautiful breakfast included. Very friendly hosts. Exceptionally comfy sleep every night with clean facilities.

Cons: Nothing really.
