Pros: Perfect location and lovely, welcoming hosts. We stayed in the Thistle Room which was very large and well kitted out and had a smart TV. The bed was very comfortable and large. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities and a lovely touch of homemade shortbread. The cooked breakfast was lovely too.

Cons: The only downside was having a separate bathroom despite Booking.com saying the room was ensuite. However, the private bathroom for the room is directly opposite and accessed easily with a key.

Pros: Loved this stay! The house was lovely- nicely decorated and felt very homely and clean. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and home-cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning. We will definitely be going back!

Pros: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay! We had an absolutely stunning stay at Merlindale. Amanda and Geoff were the most gracious hosts — so welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. There were so many thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel extra special; it’s clear that so much love and care goes into this beautiful B&B. We stayed in the Thistle Room, which was absolutely stunning — elegant, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail was just right. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Merlindale to anyone looking for a warm, charming, and memorable stay!

We had 2 wonderful nights of relaxation, comfort and friendly stay

Pros: The room we stayed in was beautiful. every little detail Amanda and Jeff had already thought about it - from the welcome whisky and home made short bread to the stylish furnishings and the homely feel. the breakfast was wonderful, and the hosts were delightful, and their two dogs were adorable. Wonderful stay.

High quality boutique style B&B experience

Pros: As much as I want to gate keep this B&B I just can’t. From the beautifully preserved and presented exterior to the expertly curated and spotlessly clean interior there is not much, if anything to dislike. I stayed in the orchid room which was beautiful but the proof is in the high quality linens which only added to sheer comfort of the bed. The little touches like a cleansing cloth to remove makeup and fully kitted hot beverage station only added to the experience. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was beautifully cooked and again lots of personal touches. Only 2 mins from Crieff Hydro so support a small business and book with these guys. I will def be back.

Cons: I mentioned to owner that there was a wee bit of a draft under the bedroom door and maybe a draft excluder would help esp with winter on the way and she was so open to the idea and genuinely took it on board so it def is not a ‘didn’t’ like as there was not a thing to not like, the whole stay was 10/10

Pros: The Best! From the homemade shortbread to the pot of tea on arrival and the delicious waffles for breakfast, everything was perfect! Great location for exploring Crieff and the Perthshire area.
