Finlaystone Family Barn

A lovely short break in an ideal location.

Pros: Great location. Barn was easy to find, centre of the park. Very well equipped accommodation and really cosy.We enjoyed (nearly) having the park to ourselves on 2 of our days and exploring all the trails.

Cons: Only the wet day we had and the fact some of the trails were really muddy. But then that is to be expected at this time of year. Nothing in the barn.

Pros: Beautiful setting exactly what I needed for my visit to family near by

Weekend break in the Family Barn

Pros: The accommodation was spacious and had all we needed for a break with our two dogs. We loved the relaxed and informal atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the woodland trails and gardens, especially in the evenings when it was nice and quiet. We had a great time and will be staying again.

Cons: No negatives, even the rain didn't spoil our time there.

A dream location

Pros: Wonderful quiet location in a large mature estate. Superbly modern equipment and the wet room was a dream as was he toilet.

Cons: No means of making coffee other that a Krupp pod machine which did not give a good output. Having brought our own coffee a cafetiere woold have been appreciated.

Pros: The location is perfect with a dog lots of walks straight out of the door , Very clean and peaceful at night . Great location for days out 😀

Pros: location was spot on you were left alone no one bothered me if i needed anything i new were to go excellent

Cons: everything couldnt fault a thing location the bard had everything right down to washing machine tumble dryer fabulouse place will defo go back next year

Pros: Excellent accomodation with enough room. Clean & tidy. Good location for 2 dogs. Plenty of walks. Like that they have washing & frying facilites for longer stays.

Anniversary break away

Pros: Place was ideal, remote, quiet, clean and well equipted. Dogs allowed which is fantastic but could be more secure at front as you step out onto a road (ie wall a bit higher with a gate so dog couldnt just run straight out door. So good we have booked up to visit again.

Cons: As someone disabled i had an issue with the height of the mirrors. The height of the double bed was also too low to transfer. . We have spoken to the hosts regarding this and hopefully will be rectified

would recommended to people and would happily go back there with the family.

Pros: The property was set in lovely large wooded area with plenty of places to walk the dog and kids to play. Very clean and tidy inside and out. all the Staff/people there where very helpful and very frendly.

Cons: nothing.

Overall, it was an excellent stay.

Pros: We love the location, the walks, the accomodation is comfy. Although cold when entering, soon heats up & is cosy. Also loved the small enclosure to let dogs off lead.

Cons: Not enough dog waste bins & the mattress in the family accommodation felt like it was too big for the bed (it peaked in the middle). These are small things that wouldn't stop me from booking again. All in all, excellent accommodation & stay.
