A wonderful stay on a great location!

Pros: The location was great. We could easily walk to everything. The instructions on how to get into the apartment were very clear and easy. Gavin went above and beyond for us (and for our side quest), and the communication was excellent. He is also very flexible with leaving luggage, checking in early or late, which was very convenient for us. The apartment itself is very nice. It is not too small, there is enough space to sit around, and it is nicely decorated. There are quite some facilities. The mince pies were a nice touch! We overall had a wonderful stay and would recommend this apartment if you're staying in Edinburgh.

Cons: - No shower gel even though that was listed; - Dust clogged the ventilation system in the bathroom; - Mugs and cutlery were quite dirty as if they weren't washed.

Pros: The apartment is near Edinburgh Castle! It’s a really nice neighbourhood, with a big square and food places nearby. It’s 10 minutes walk from the Royal Mile and the city centre!

Cons: The apartment needs a deep cleaning!

A very pleasant stay in the hearth of Edinburgh

Pros: The central location is easily accessible and provides a vast majority of major attractions in the Edinburgh. It is very easy to use public transport to get anywhere you want. The apartment was very clean, had all the things one expects to find in there. The beds very supercomfy! Area is quiet during the evenings and the local shops and market around are within reach if a need arises. Would gladly return once I'm back to Edinburgh.

Pros: The location was just perfect for everything we wanted to do and see. Our host, Gavin, was exceptional with sorting everything out for me, nothing was too much trouble. The property really did have everything you needed.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. It was just perfect.

Pros: Great location next to the Grassmarket - hosts gave good instructions, apartment is clean and comfortable tea coffee & milk provided which was kind - would definitely recommend and book again- what a beautiful city Edinburgh is

Clean and comfortable

Pros: The Wee Thistle is comfortable and clean. We appreciated the provision of fresh milk, tea and coffee, also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The sofa bed was very quick and easy to prepare. The location is very close to the centre of the city.

Cons: It was a bit noisy at night.
