Cozy and convenient place
Pros: Great location just below the Edinburgh castle, 3 minutes to Grassmarket and 10 to Royal mile. Quiet building, renovated apartment. Many restaurants very close. Everything necessary for a household is available. The hosts are kind and caring. We felt like at home.
Cons: Not sure if it is because of some requirements, but would be better to have cooking oil (olive or sunflower) and vinegar instead of buying 1 liter bottle for 2 cookings - just as there are salt, sugar and spices left. Maybe because of the high season festival period the price was higher than expected but still competitive compared to the other available accommodation places.

Pros: Location was perfect and the view was fantastic. Very clean apartment. In the kitchen all necessary. Got answers to my messages very quickly.
Cons: Everything was good. But there wasn't elevator ,so you should walk to upper floor .

Great location, great apartment - great place to see Edinburgh from!
Pros: Great location, great response from the host when there was an issue with our garage remote, all the facilities and equipment needed for a comfy stay!
Cons: To get any hot water, had to turn the “boost” on and wait 30mins or so before showering. There were instructions for this in the info book, but it was a little annoying to have to do every time you wanted shower/hot water.

Great location and accommodation - thank you
Pros: Fab location, very quiet also. Nice warm accomodation Kitchen nicely provisioned for what we used (kettle/cups/glasses only) Parking - based on prev reviews I had made alternative paid parking arrangements but given it was raining when we arrived I thought to check the parking provided and actually managed to get my estate car in so therefore used. HOWEVER! be aware (for me) whilst one of the (2) bays can accommodate an estate fine, the challenge was getting it INTO the underground parking entrance- very tight but with patience and good parking sensors is defo possible. Leaving was fine as long as you line up your car before opening the gates.
Cons: A couple of minor things I have brought to the attention of the hosts to check out/improve but nothing that spoiled our stay in reality Leaking shower hose has already been mentioned in a previous review and needs new shower hose (for sure :)

perfect apartment, perfect location!
Pros: The apartment was in a perfect location, walking distance to all the attractions. The apartment had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay and the host was very attentive, any queries we had was answered within minutes. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: Perfect location with restaurants, cafees & a corner shop very close by. Magnificent view of the castle. Surprisingly quiet, didn't hear a sound from the other apartments. A bath tub.
Cons: Some (though very little) traffic noises on the Friday/Saturday nights. The shower hose needs replacement or at least a new seal. :) 6th floor with no lift - luckily the entrance was from the 3rd floor. Just keep it in mind if you have problems with moving up the stairs.

We were very comfortable in the apartment and any issues we did have were sorted out quickly.
Pros: It was in a great location, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to be. Plenty of bars and restaurants around us so we weren’t relying on buses or taxis for getting home in the evening. It was also clean and had everything we needed.
Cons: It wouldn’t suit someone who struggled with stairs as it’s on the top floor. It was fine for us but not for everyone. Could have done with a couple more blankets as it’s quite cold this time of year.

Excellent location in a great apartment with views of the castle
Pros: It was clean, the location was great. The bed was comfortable and the sofa bed wasn’t too bad it could do with a new mattress topper. The kitchen was well equipped except there were no aluminium foil or cling wrap to cover leftover foods.
Cons: Had no stairs and no air con we didn’t need aircon then so that was good. We had heavy luggages so it was a workout carrying the luggages up three flights of stairs.

A great city centre apartment, close to everything, with parking.
Pros: The host, Agnes, is so helpful. She replies really quickly to messages and keeps really open communication. This made a massive difference to our stay. The apartment is located in a really central location. Even with two kids we walked everywhere. There is secure underground parking which is a real bonus.
Cons: nothing.
