Very comfortable studio in beautiful rural setting but convenient to town.

Pros: Very comfortable studio in beautiful rural setting but close to town

Holiday for two.

Pros: The place looked clean and modern. It is in a quiet area.

Cons: It was small with just one Velux window in the ceiling. There's no sofa or separate lounge area to sit and relax. It could do with a window in the door with frosted glass, to let more daylight in.

A rainy week in Glasgow

Pros: This is a very nice fully equipped modern studio situated in the countryside. A very nice and helpful owner. Excellent WiFi. Comfortable bed and spacious studio in general. Excellent for a couple. There is parking for those who have a car. In fact, it is an ideal place for those who have a car. Very quiet, with magnificent views.

Cons: Being a pedestrian, it is a 15-20-minute walk to the train station along a very busy regional road in the countryside. The train is 30 minutes from the centre of Glasgow.

So glad we found Whiteley’s Cottage and really hope it will be available the next time we are visiting the area in a few

Pros: Absolutely everything 🤗 Perfect location for our needs, lovely and clean and fresh, everything you need in the kitchen area and a super comfy bed. Very communicative host but left us to enjoy the peace and quiet and go about our day without intrusion.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike, the only very minor niggle would be that as we weren’t comfortable leaving the electric fan heater switched on when we went out, it took a wee while to get the room warmed up when we got back. Mind you we were staying in December and this IS Scotland!! This certainly wouldn’t stop us from booking the cottage again though and the bathroom was always toasty warm thanks to the heated towel rail.

Pros: Great place to relax in, close to town (but not walking distance)

Cons: Entrance to the driveway up to the farm was kinda hard to drive from

Lovely cottage in a great location

Pros: Great location to explore the area. The cottage was comfortable, warm and well set up. Marcela was lovely and really helpful. Being on a farm it’s really quiet and relaxing after a day of exploring.

Pros: Cottage excellently clean, facilities were very high standard, everything you needed was on hand, cottage was peaceful and quiet, it was far better than I imagine. Very happy stay. Would have no hesitation in coming back.

Cons: Been honest, I couldn't fault it in any form. I was happy with all on offer so it was hard to look for particulars to complain.

Pros: The accommodation was very comfy and clean. It was also well provisioned for self catering by way of cutlery, crockery and utensils. The location was lovely with great views yet you're only about a mile from plenty of supermarkets in Dumbarton, perfect for self catering. A convenient location for all the Dumbarton attractions. A very quiet and relaxing location.
