Deluxe 3-bedroom Apartment on Princes Street overlooking Edinburgh Castle

Pros: Very tranquil and warm, a beautiful view of the castle was very special. Went to Edinburgh with family. Such a great place that created fond memories

Stunning apartment but price doesn’t reflect the hassle of no close parking

Pros: The apartment is beautiful. The view from the lounge room window is stunning. Great position between Old and New Town. Very clean and the kids loved the big bath in main bathroom. Host was great at responding to questions.

Cons: Not having any parking is a major negative. Closest car park is a good 10/15min walk, coming off a long flight and with three children this was not easy. Parking is also very expensive (Budget £30 pound per day at NCP). Finding the key box wasn’t as bad as I thought but again, it’s finding it when you’re tired and just want to be there. The stairs and luggage are a nightmare. My husband dropped me in the city so that I could find the key box and entrance (he stayed with the kids in the car). Once i saw the stairs, we kept all luggage in our car and packed a three day bag. Stairs not appropriate for older travellers or people with young children/prams - no lift. Ours are older so they complained but managed. If you are couples travelling together this would be an awesome space, lots of room for everyone. Just be aware that the use of ‘king/double’ beds is slightly exaggerated. My 8 yr old slept alone in one of the beds (more a king single), 11 and 7 yr old shared one (double) and main bed felt more like a (queen). If you are a group, be aware that the internet can’t manage more than 2 users at a time. Two of the bedrooms are directly overlooking Princes St, stunning but you do have the noise of a major city at night. I think for this price, someone should meet you at the property.

Pros: The apartment is huge and tastefully decorated with stunning views of Edinburgh castle. We loved the location as it was very central and within walking distance to most events. The host provided FILTER COFFEE (***Thank you***) bread, milk, biscuits, fruit etc and little extras which was very thoughtful and appreciated. We loved having our family all together under 1 roof instead of individual hotel rooms.

Cons: There were a few windows that did not shut properly (which is not usually a problem) but being on a main road in the city did allow some noise into the unit.

Pros: Well furnished with amazing atmosphere, great location.

Cons: The stairs with bags was hard work, no lift.

Pros: Дизайн, локація і вид з вікна це по особливому красиво. Також в помешканні дуже чисто, є все необхідне для проживання: гель для душу, шампуні, туалетний папір, на кухні є багато речей для приготування їжі та прибирання (по необхідності. Також посудомийка та пральна машина. Чистота постелі, рушники це було чисто. В цій квартирі було дуже приємно проводити час. Фотографіі не передають всієї краси цих апартаментів.

Cons: Відчувається шум з центральної вулиці, пізній заїзд та доволі брудні вікна з зовнішньої сторони.

Pros: Toplocatie aan de Princes Street op loopafstand van de Royal Mile en Grassmarket. Het appartement was zeer ruimtelijk én de gebruikte foto’s zijn ook werkelijk zo. De instructies via de Booking.com app met de eigenaar waren uitstekend. Een echte aanrader!
