Good location, well equipped apartment with lots of space

Pros: This apartment is in a great location. Lovely outlook over The Meadows but only a 20 minute stroll through the park to get to the city centre. There is plenty of space in the apartment and it was pretty well equipped. Seven of us stayed here to go to the festival and it was a great base for doing that. It was close enough that if we needed a break we could walk back to the apartment. The local Scotmid Coop was a very decent size and only 7 minutes walk away - the Waitrose was 18 minutes walk. Also probably plenty of places to eat out nearby but we didn't end up trying any of them. The apartment is next door to The Black Ivy - but surprisingly we weren't really disturbed by any noise. We thought we would go for a drink or meal there but actually didn't get round to it.

Cons: The front door of the apartment was difficult to open until you got the knack - I think it would be good to have it replaced. Some additional kitchen equipment would be useful - oven gloves, extra cereal bowls and a washing up bowl (but we cooked for 7 people regularly so these aren't big issues). For what it provides I feel the apartment was pretty expensive in August but then I think everywhere in Edinburgh is during the festival! You can park free of charge in the evenings and weekends. During week days it is metered parking or you can park the car outside the residents parking zones having dropped your stuff off - about 30 minutes walk away

Spacious Edinburgh apartment

Pros: Nice location, quiet area close to city centre. Huge rooms and lots of space for big group staying together.

Cons: Warnings about tiptoeing after 11pm due to being in a residential building made me a bit nervous about disturbing people.

Erg prettig verblijf voor een groep op een goede plek in Edinburgh

Pros: De locatie had een erg fijne woonkamer en ruimte slaapkamers. Voor een groep is het een hele fijne plek om te zitten. Er was veel aanwezig: - Dekens - Handdoeken - Strijkbout en Strijkplank - Pannen en serviesgoed De locatie was verder prima en je bent snel bij wat horeca en winkels. Het centrum is 20 minuten lopen en er stoppen genoeg bussen in de buurt.

Cons: De matrassen waren niet de beste kwaliteit. Zelf ben ik wat minder fan van self check in. Ik vind dat altijd wat onpersoonlijk.
