Wonderful place to get away for a break

Pros: Loch Lomond Apartments are located less than 10 minutes from Balloch and Alexandria, which made shopping and visiting tourist attractions really easy. Dumbarton is just 20 minutes away if other shops and services are needed, and Glasgow is not much further. The apartment was really comfortable; big bed with a good selection of pillows, the sofa was great for stretching out on, and the kitchen has everything the average person needs. Views of the surrounding countryside are stunning, we could see for miles, which came in handy when looking to see what the Scottish November weather was doing. If you're lucky, you might hear some owls at night. The hot tub is fab, we went in every night except the first night, and even then that was because it had just been cleaned and was being refilled and heated back up. Eddie is an excellent host, we didn't have any issues but if we had, he would have only been a message away.

Cons: Loch Lomond Apartments are not visible as a point of interest on Google Maps, which made getting there a little bit tricky. Access to the apartments is using a farm track, and while for the most part that wasn't an issue, a couple of times we had to open and close gates to get to the apartments.

Pros: Sauna, hot tub, accommodation and setting all perfect

Excellent apartment!

Pros: Eddie was an exceptional host, very welcoming and explained how to use all the facilities in detail. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. The sauna and hot tub elevate the property and add such a welcome touch of luxury! Eddie is also very knowledgeable about the local area and recommended a walk with amazing views. Everyone says it but the dogs are also a highlight, the sweetest ever!

Had the most enjoyable stay from the the greeting to leaving. Eddie was lovely and he greeted us on arrival then left us

Pros: Eddie is a great host and makes you feel very welcome. The apartment was a fantastic spot to properly relax, with all the lovely facilities. The weather was pretty miserable, which was ideal for us! Would love to come back and hopefully explore the Loch Lomond area a bit more.

A wonderful 3-night stay in a purpose-built apartment near Loch Lomond

Pros: The apartment had everything that was needed for our 3-day stay - and more. The hot tub, sauna, facilities and local area all made for a fantastic stay. Eddie was an outstanding host, offering recommendations for walks, pubs and restaurants in the local area.

Cons: There is nothing that we'd change or cite as a negative! (I don't think Eddie - the host - could have impacted the poor weather...)

Pros: Lovely rural location. Great facilities with sauna and jacuzzi. Comfortable and clean apartment with all you need for a great stay. Welcoming and helpful host.

Unforgettable stay with amazing place.

Pros: The property was beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery. It was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere was so calm, and the view from the house was simply amazing. Eddie was an incredibly kind and hospitable host. We didn’t have a car, and he kindly came to pick us up from Balloch train station and took us to the apartment. During our stay, he drove us to Balloch several times, showed us beautiful places, and recommended great restaurants. When we checked out, he even took us back to the train station. This truly shows how generous and thoughtful he is. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful place and experiencing Eddie’s warm hospitality.

Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave! We truly wished we could have stayed longer because everything was perfect.

Great property clean and everything you need and a great host

Pros: Great host answered all queries and gave some good recommendations. Facilities have everything you need for a self catering stay. Excellent large hot tub

Cons: Nothing about the property or host. Location is in a beautiful area but you do need a car for everything not suitable road to walk into anywhere for a drink and food but all within easy distance with a car
