Riverside View Penthouse in Balloch

A beautiful property in a stunning town with a welcoming host and thoughtful touches throughout.

Pros: What a beautiful home in a fantastic location in such a stunning town. The host was warm and welcoming, and check-in was easy. Spacious, inviting and perfectly set on the water — morning coffee on the balcony was a highlight. The thoughtful, delicious treats from our host made the stay even more special.

Cons: A thoughtful touch — use the supplied earplugs if you’re sensitive to road noise

Pros: We loved everything. And we were delighted by the sweet treats deposited by our host.

Pros: Great location. Well equipped, clean and spacious apartment. Host very responsive and provided all information needed for check-in up front.

Cons: Issue with getting hot water one morning. Allocated parking space was not available during our stay as another vehicle was parked in it. Fortunately, there is alternative place to park.

Pros: The apartment is lovely. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Lovely touches! View is beautiful.

Great base for hiking in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs

Pros: Excellent location. Property furnished to a high standard with lots of lovely little touches. Communication with Christine was excellent, made the checkin process very easy and great to get in early.

Cons: Nothing to fault

We are pretty fussy but any place that has its own branded bathrobes and mugs has to be good!

Pros: Top class property . No expense has been spared in making this a great place to stay. We travelled 8 hours from SE England for a couple of days before going to the highlands so we wanted somewhere we could relax and enjoy without driving . There’s lots of walks and good restaurants within walking distance so this place fitted the bill perfectly.

Cons: There’s really nothing !

Pros: Excellent location for Balloch and Loch lomond. It's close to bars, restaurants and shops. The host was very helpful and the apartment had lovely little extras.

Will definitely be using again.

Pros: This property is like home from home (apart from the fact I don’t live in a beautiful penthouse apartment). There is everything you need for a very comfortable stay from teabags to toiletries. The host is superb and when we had a bit of a personal hiccup she was on hand to help at her earliest opportunity.

Cons: None of us could find fault.
