Peaceful and relaxing

Pros: This was an amazing stay. We wanted to have a relaxing Saturday and that’s exactly what we’ve got. The hot tub is the best, and the place is very cozy and well-equipped. The hosts are lovely and picked us up at the train station. I can’t wait to get back. Everything was absolutely clean, and there are many helpful amenities. Everything in the place works well, and it's a comfortable stay. The blackout in the room is amazing and offers an amazing sleep night.

Cons: This is a minor point and it didn't bother us, but this is a dog lover place, and there was some dog smell in the house. it wasn't a problem for us, but it might not be for you if you don't like dogs.

Pros: Lovely owners. Lovely barn. Great facilities. Cosy, comfortable.

Cons: All good - just be aware you might park on the road - quiet road.

We had a comfortable stay and would rent again on a future holiday in Scotland. Very pet friendly!

Pros: We were out and about the Highland show so much we didn’t use the hot tub or courtyard but it was private and met our needs. The hosts were quick to check that we were comfortable and that was appreciated. This rental would be perfect if travelling with dogs.

Pros: Quirky and fun, and absolutely everything provided. The host were such nice people, and their furry and feathered family were an added bonus.

Lovely, cosy place to stay

Pros: Lovely people, very friendly, explained everything and offered help etc. Lovely location, garden is excellent! Comfortable and relaxing stay.

Cosy, little barn

Pros: We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay in this little, charming barn. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay while still respecting our privacy. The barn itself was clean, cosy, and had everything we could possibly need and more.The hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. The location is idyllic; peaceful and quiet with lovely walking trails right on the doorstep and the stunning Black Loch practically in the backyard – perfect for a paddle boarding session. Its proximity to Edinburgh was also a great bonus for a day trip into the city. Meeting all the dogs and parrots was definitely a highlight of our visit- they are such a characters! We wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic place for a getaway!

Cons: I don't think there was anything that we didn't like.

Exactly what I was looking for

Pros: The hosts Bill and Fran were so welcoming, instantly felt at ease and comfortable. Travelling with two dogs, one a puppy the property was safe , dog proof and nothing was a problem

Cons: My only complaint was the midges which the owners could have done nothing about
