Suited our purposes for a one night stop

Pros: Lovely fire. Plenty of fuel. Clean and well equipped

Cons: Nothing but the location was further out than we had realised

Pros: Lovely property, located in a small village near to Falkirk. There was everything you could possibly need provided to use. Host came to see us after we had checked in, lovely lady ❤️

Beautiful and comfortable base

Pros: Great location. Well equipped and comfortable cottage. We really enjoyed our stay here as 2 adult, a dog and 2 year old. Fab base to visit the surrounding areas.

Ideal cottage to use as a base to explore Scotland

Pros: The cottage was spacious and beds very comfortable. It had lots of towels, flannels, toilet roll and cleaning supplies which were a nice touch. My daughter particularly liked the coffee machine and hot chocolate pods provided 🙂. It was a great location for travelling to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk and Loch Lomond. The host was absolutely lovely and very helpful. There was parking on the driveway available and a very quiet location.

Cons: The only thing I would advise future guests would be to take some warm clothing as although the temperature outside was warm, the inside of the cottage felt cold.

Fab cottage, awesome host.

Pros: Really charming cottage. Fantastic host. Very friendly and helpful and John Jr the duckling was sooooo cute. Dog friendly with enclosed garden. Great location for Falkirk and Edinburgh.

Cons: Sadly, everything was awesome, so I don't have much to say here.

Victorian cottage in a peaceful village

Pros: We loved the location. Close to Falkirk, Stirling, Bo'ness and less than 1h away from Edinburgh. Very quiet and peaceful village. Cottage was spacious, all in vintage Victorian style. Beautiful old fireplace giving a very cozy feeling. The smell of wood was amazing! Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Cons: Not comfortable mattresses, sadly. Water pressure was poor though.
