A lovely stay!

Pros: Very friendly, gave good advice about where to go, what to see and where to eat(all were dog friendly options as we had our dog with us) The places recommended were all great. Hot tub was great, secure land for the dog was great I've attached a picture of this. We were provided with shower gel and towels, orange juice and milk, tea bags, coffee and sugar aswell as cornflakes, jam, eggs and even some homemade pancakes which were delicious!

Cons: We were expecting a different lodge than we got due to advertising pictures on here however the lodge we did get was actually more ideal due to a bit more space and a secure private gated area.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Pros: The hot tub was amazing, all the small touches from Anne aswell made the stay extra special, from the homemade pancakes on arrival to having eggs, cereal, tea, coffee, etc was a really nice touch, Great privacy and we will definitely be back!

Peacefully entertained for all age groups

Pros: Very clean lodge , loads of privacy , Anne was lovely and her babies ,hot tub was lovely even in the bitter cold of winter, small touches were lovely and totally unexpected . The lodge accommodated and entertained a family of mixed ages , kids loved the swing and adults loved the peaceful surroundings as well as the hot tub , very pleased with our short stay and will definitely be returning.

Great stay

Pros: lovely starter pack with fresh orange, milk, homemade pancakes and more. Anne met us to tell us about the local wildlife and the hot tub etc. the hot tub is massive! also offered to call her if we needed extra towels which was lovely. lodge lovely and warm. great shower.

Amazing getaway!

Pros: Exceptional location to be staying at, owner was lovely as well!

Pros: I have now visited 2 out of 3 of the holiday homes available and just find everything amazing.

Cons: Nothing at all to do with the accommodation.

Pros: Very cosy and very DOG FRIENDLY!! My dog absolutely loved it here! So much secured space to run about! Poppys Palace is soo cosy, warm and spotless! Hottub is great! Absolutely loved it and will be booking again!!

Pros: Stunning little lodges set on a family run farm. Anne the owner was lovely and really welcoming, couldnt have done enough for us. The lodge was excellenly equipped and cosy and the hot tub just finished it off.

Peaceful and quiet.

Pros: We stayed in the little hobbits pod for Christmas (can’t remember proper name), we found it to be really cosy, lovely special touches like homemade pancakes,milk and fresh orange, cereal, jams, great kitchen utensils, great with a dog, lots of towels and blankets, hot tub was great, shower was super and all round just lovely for a short stay.

Cons: It was a really enjoyable stay however there’s a couple things that didn’t really bother us too much but might bother others..the window spotlight above the bed is a nice touch but at night we found the condensation to build and drop onto the bed or our heads at night (Now it is basically underground with no windows apart from the glass door obviously so it’s to be expected in my opinion), the front glass door steams easily(again limited airflow with it being the type of accommodation it is). These things to us weren’t a problem so this comment is more to give people a heads up for booking to expect these things may happen
