Pros: Spectacular views, huge rooms, great facilities. Comfortable and warm. Easy access to town but with a rural feel with woodland behind.

Lovely big house with fabulous views

Pros: Beautiful views, big house with lots of character. Great big kitchen which was well equipped. Very clean.

Cons: Although the kitchen was well equipped nothing else was in the house e.g hand wash in the bathrooms, washing up liquid/cloths etc which I think should be included. Couldn’t really get to grips with the heating and the radiators stopped working but the underfloor heating in the kitchen was lovely. There was no replies through booking.com and in the run up was hard to get any replies to questions until I managed to get hold of the owner.

Pros: property was very central, spacious and very cosy. exceptional views and lots of info about surrounding area

Cons: the hill is a bit of a killer for people who struggle with mobility and the dishwasher was there but not plumbed in and sat in the middle of the kitchen
