What a Place

Pros: Amazing quirky old place, well presented with all you need. Plenty of seating and hidey places for the kids, love all the random animals and orniments. Once the place heats up you will be sliding along the floors, drink in hand with a smile on your face. Mother in laws 60th went well, we took the upstairs so we couldnt hear the snoring and we left the older folk downstairs. My miniature sausage dog must have covered around 2 miles within the property so he slept well. Grab some wood and a big 20kg bag of coal and you will love it. Parking outside and across the road, gate out in the garden so its safe for kids and dogs.

Cons: The place was great but the drivers on the Island drive faster than city folk, I am into my cars, noise and speed but they need to calm down.

Incredible space for relaxing & entertaining.

Pros: Perfect for entertaining. The space is incredible, bigger than it appears and many many seating options. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and more. It was ideal for our group of 6 females, we each had a bed each. Downstairs: bedroom 1 - double w/ en-suite, bedroom 2 - twin. Upstairs: bedroom 3 - twin, mezzanine - double & family bathroom. Communication was quick, clear and kind.

Cons: Both bathrooms require to pass through guests spaces - when allocating bedrooms we made access agreements to ensure everyone was comfortable. It took us a while to figure out the Hive heating system - not sure we fully succeeded 😁

Pros: Spent a super long weekend here. Great to have a funky space for all the family at once. Nice location on the shore road and walkable to Rothesay town or bus stop right outside. Really enjoyed our visit and were very comfortable.
