A wonderful, warm cottage for a very peaceful getaway

Pros: Very quaint little cottage in a beautiful location. Easy to stay warm too which we needed as we stayed for New Year!

Cons: Only minor issues were needing to hold the shower hose as it wasn’t attached to the wall. Also slightly dusty which set off my allergies a bit.

Wonderful quaint cottage

Pros: Review: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, quaint cottage on Islay. The cozy fireplace made our evenings warm and relaxing, and the view over the harbour was absolutely stunning. We loved watching the seals every morning. The cottage was well equipped with all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. Our only suggestion would be to replace the mattresses, as the springs felt flat and no longer very supportive. Otherwise, a lovely place and a memorable visit!

Cons: The mattresses could do with upgrading as they weren't the most comfortable and had little support.

Pros: The location was lovely,quiet seals in the bay every morning and evening. Local people very welcoming a real quiet place to recharge your batteries. Daughter's wedding so whole village taken over by family.

Warmed the soul!!

Pros: If you have a chance to book go for it!! Islay is magical , Portnahaven is beautiful and cottage is quaint , a little crocked but overall very welcoming, homely and warm. We loved it!! The beautiful bay and seals calling at night - truly magical!

We had a lovely stay, the seals in the bay were the added touch that made our stay.

Pros: Very old and cosy feel to the cottage in a lovely village.

Cons: Nothing, the cottage had everything we needed.

Pros: Its aptly named as Seal cottage because we did see seals from outside of the cottage. Stunning views and what lovely location of the cottage. Comfortable and pleasant stay
