Fingask Log Cabin - S4394

Blissful and brilliant, would happily return tomorrow.

Pros: The location is everything and more! We did have a little trouble finding the property initially but that’s 100% my fault for failing to read the thorough instructions provided. Really fantastic jobs done on the hosts’ part, they went above and beyond in making our stay not just comfortable but enjoyable, and of course the property was beautiful and exactly as listed. Hazel and John are amazing hosts, made sure we knew how to work everything within the cabin and where the instructions for the sauna/hot tub were. John greeted us at the cabin and returned to bring us dishwasher tablets which absolutely wasn’t necessary but appreciated. We were very pleased with the view and how private the property is, was greeted by lots of birds and little bunnies whilst enjoying our morning cuppas.

An absolutely fabulous cabin and holiday

Pros: It was so cosy and relaxing with also very impressive facilities of Jacuzzi, Sauna, Shower and a separate Hot Tub in another wooden cabin. Very clean and modern. It was an exceptional stay and log cabin with a bonus of natural spring water and wildlife. Hazel was wonderful also and was on hand to answer any queries. We will return!

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Comfortable and peaceful Lodge

Pros: The lodge was spotless had everything you could need , loved the hot tub and jacuzzi and the bed was so comfortable, very peaceful location and beautiful views.

Cons: The trees at the front blocked the view a little bit

Pros: Loved everything about it. Was a shame there was a power cut first night from 10pm till half 1 but apart from that everything about the cabin was amazing and will book again.

Super quiet and peaceful.

Pros: Spacious, clean, great with personal sauna, spa bath and hot tub in the garden ( in an shed).

Cons: Kitchen equipment needs a bit of an overhaul, new pots and frying pan and some utencils would be better. Otherwise very good.

Amazing location for couples wanting a relaxing escape

Pros: Our second visit. Brilliant facilities (including a hot tub, jacuzzi bath and sauna) in a very pleasant, cosy cabin. Location is also very tranquil and private.

Cons: Dirty kettle - please clean or replace!

Absolutely perfect!

Pros: Hot tub, sauna, spa bath, tranquil location, kitchen/cooking facilities, size of accommodation.

Cons: Shower had very little pressure.

Pros: The cabin was clean, spacious and everything we hoped for. The hot tub was superb and the location was ideal for exploring lots of nearby attractions.

Relaxing

Pros: Fantastic location, hot tub was great and the whole place was comfortable and quiet.

Cons: Overall the place was great but there was no dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher so needed to go out to get some. Very minor issue.

Everything I hoped for and more

Pros: Absolutely tranquil and peaceful place, just the right place to relax and forget about the world around you. Place was clean and tidy and even got a little welcome basket. Stayed in the fingask cabin and everything you need is there, all you need to bring is yourselfs and food/drinks! Nice big bedroom, good size bathroom with a jacuzzi and a sauna and don't forget the hot tub in the outside shed. BBQ area, big fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher all there. Wheelchair accessible. Pet friendly place but be advised that your area is not enclosed so dogs need supervised otherwise they can/will wander off. If you're lucky like us you might even see some deer walking down the path.

Cons: I don't know if it was an oversight by the host, but there was no bath ropes / housecoats provided, but we did bring our own anyway. Trees are to tall, blocking the amazing view 😂 I understand it's for more privacy, but you can't enjoy the view from inside the cabin on a rainy day.
