Pros: Lovely quirky home in a fantastic location with great parking and a real quality feel from the fixtures and fittings. The property was spotlessly clean throughout. Great communication from the host Elaine and a great information folder with recommendations of places to visit and where to eat and drink.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!!

After a day of exploring, we found some lovely local pubs and beer gardens nearby to unwind.

Pros: We had a truly delightful stay at the Old School House in Kinross. The accommodation was spotless, tastefully decorated, and full of character; blending old-world charm with modern comforts. Everything was well thought out, from the cosy furnishings to the clear and helpful instructions provided by the host, making check-in and day-to-day logistics a breeze. The location is perfect: tucked away in a peaceful spot yet just a short stroll from the stunning Loch Leven. We enjoyed picturesque walks around the loch, where we spotted deer and even a few red squirrels darting through the trees. It’s a haven for nature lovers and dog owners too, as the property is wonderfully dog-friendly.

Cons: There is really only the tiniest comment and even then, this wasn't a problem for us at all, we just used plastic bags in the doorway. We thought it could be made slightly better if there were somewhere for muddy boots that was undercover to keep them dry, or simply take plastic bags with you to put over the top of them so they do not get wet on the boot rack.

Excellent property could not fault.

Pros: The communication was superb. Everything was covered, including the amenities in the surrounding area. The building and garden are immaculate. I have mobility problems, don’t use a wheelchair. However the complete property is geared for every kind of guest. There is something interesting to see everywhere in the property. Would definitely return.

Perfection

Pros: A wonderful short break here. What a comfortable, cosy, beautifully decorated little house. Evidence of the old Schoolhouse from the large windows which made the rooms light and bright. Kitchen, bedrooms, living room - absolute perfection. Great enclosed garden area. Our Jack Russell enjoyed exploring. Hopefully we will return one day.

Beautiful property in beautiful Scotland

Pros: Lovely conversion. High windows let in lots of light and give you privacy. Great location for getting out and about to explore Scotland. Good size garden space.shops are close by for essentials. Host provided lots of helpful information ahead of our stay.

Cons: Only negative was no electric car charging. Oh and no plastic recycling but that is the local council not the owner.

Pros: Loved this property, host was fantastic and really couldn't fault our stay. Really comfortable, cosy home-from-home. We look forward to returning. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Pre visit information, contact and directions excellent. Property very clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. Owner's extremely prompt and professional response when unexpected problems occurred with central heating and hot water. Enclosed, south facing garden with furniture which unfortunately due to the weather we did not use but was excellent for ensuring our dog remained safe when outside.
