Leven View Lodges - Carness

Pros: The lodge had everything you need for a self catering stay. The location and surroundings are perfect and very peaceful. Communication from the owner was excellent prior to our arrival with easy to follow directions to the property and a straightforward check-in procedure. I hope to return one day.

Cons: Unfortunately it doesn't have wi-fi so you have to use your mobile data plan.

10/10 will be back :)

Pros: The property was beautiful, in a lovely peaceful but of land with a stunning mountain view by the water. It was very clean, came with what we needed and was very cosy as the heating was in the floor. It was lovely as the woman whom i assume owns it came and asked if everything was okay and this made us feel at peace and so much more comfortable! 10/10 would recommend.

Cons: I would only say the shower pressure wasnt the best but it did give is pre warnings and we still managed to take a wee shower! Overall happy with everything!

Cons: The fact that the shower did not have pressure and I am not sure about the heating in the winter .

Nice Views and Quiet

Pros: Nice views and clean. Cosy. All instructions were clear.

Cons: The bathroom is very small and there is only one mirror in the house and it’s difficult to use in the location above the sink. I recommend the owners to put a mirror beside the shower and a small storage space or table in the bathroom in the corner would be a nice improvement.

Pros: The view and the area is amazing right next to the 3 sisters and Fort William we took the drive to isle of skye and got engaged at the fairy Pools was absolutely perfect

Wonderful relaxing stay in an idyllic location

Pros: Cozy, great view, away from the main road, and nicely located for glencoe area. Shower, heating, appliances were all in great condition and easy to use. Bed was easy to pull out and put away.

Cons: Not much but we found dishes tricky to clean even with tub.

Fantastic quiet retreat with amazing views from a cosy cabin.

Pros: The location was amazing. Fantastic panoramic views of Glencoe and Loch Leven. We'll never forget the sunset from the cabins. Also the cabins were cosy as there was underfloor heating and a hot shower. There was also a fridge to store some food and a microwave to do ready-made meals if travelling on a budget.

Cons: Lack of Wi-Fi. We had to use data, but it's not a big issue as we wanted to escape from all that.

Pros: The location is so beautiful and peaceful. Wish we could have stayed for longer to appreciate the patio area.

Cons: The only thing I would say is the lighting by where the microwave and fridge are, isn’t great.

Absolutely stunning views and so peaceful

Pros: Adorable little hut with incredible views! Has everything you need and lies isolated and peacefully somewhere near the shore of Loch Leven. It is a very special place and we loved every minute here.

Cons: Sleeping sofa is OK and understandable to save space. However I still prefer normal beds ;)

Pros: The view and that it was quite and had private parking.

Cons: Room is smaller than it looks in the pictures. Bed is a folding bed, so not very comfortable. There is a window in the top and you can't cover it and it is a problem for people who prefer sleeping in the dark.
