Pros: Great location with loads of amazing hikes nearby. My favourite part was the cosy living room and fireplace which made everything feel extra warm and perfect for a Highland getaway. I also loved the Christmas decorations; all the twinkly lights made the cottage feel really homely and cosy. Such a lovely place and really nice owners.

Loved it!

Pros: Really well appointed, special little Bothy in a stunning area and handy for so much in the area. The recommendations in the book of info proved most helpful too as we visited Castle Stalker and ate at Holly Tree. Perfect.

Cons: Wasn’t easy to shower with the hand held set up in the upstairs bathroom, and downstairs was apparently very small. Understandable of course, but worth noting in terms of time and capabilities

Perfect cosy retreat

Pros: We really loved this place. Normally stay in 4* hotels but we have a new additional noisy dog. The house was so quaint and full of character and in such historic atmospheric grounds. Everything was perfect but I especially liked the quality linen on the beds and the small antique bath with very hot water. My own suggestion would be an extra chair to sit on other than the coach and it was a bit of a squeeze for the 3 of us. Highly recommended and good value fr money.
