The Cobbler Cottage - Loch Lomond and Arrochar Alps

Pros: The cobbler cottage is in an excellent location and is very peaceful. We will definitely return soon

A lovely, well maintained cottage. Highly recommended.

Pros: Very comfortable and clean. Spacious and well equipped. Close to the station, so that you can visit and stay using public transport. A welcome tray of wine, teas, coffees and snacks was a nice touch and much appreciated. A lovely place to stay.

Cons: Apart from the restaurant next door, there are very few amenities in Tarbet. The nearest shop is a walk away in Arronchar. Most visitors will have a car, but for those arriving by bus or train, the location is not so great for local amenities. The walking in the Arronchar alps is superb, however.

Pros: The location was great. We also likes the patio very much. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain. The cottage has everything we need. We had a great time

Pros: Gorgeous, spacious, well equipped cottage. Five mins walk from train and bus. Stunning views of the mountains. Great place to stay. Definately will be back.

Lovely, easy, family holiday.

Pros: Beautiful, easily accessible location. Cosy, clean cottage with welcoming biscuits and wine. Well stocked kitchen and cosy bedrooms and lounge. Lock Lomond is a ten minute walk away, where you can access the Loch cruises and also Tarbet hotel restaurant. In the other direction, Arrochar and Loch Long (5 minute drive or a 50 minute trail walk) has a lovely fish and chip shop, cafes and the village pub restaurant. We had easy day trips to Inveraray and Stirling. Canoeing on the Loch is available at Luss (20 min drive), Lovely, easy, family holiday.

Cons: One of the showers was a bit finickity. But we figured it out in the end and then it was lovely. Also a few more towel rails would have been useful. Particularly by the hand basins. Otherwise everything worked well. Thank you.

Excellent place for a family getaway

Pros: Very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy Loch Lomond.

Cons: The youngling missed tv (no signal) but it was actually good to spend more time doing something else.

Perfect peppery in beautiful location.

Pros: The cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped for our stay. It had all we needed and more. The views from the property were lovely, the outdoor space was great to sit and relax after a day out exploring, good internet connection. We can’t wait to return !

Cozy rooms with good facilities.

Pros: Very cozy rooms and location. It had pretty much everything that we wanted. For a family, it's a nice cottage with ample space and good facilities. The host had very nicely written everything in the guide book which was in the room which I was really impressed with.

Cons: I had little difficulty in finding the place. Placing sign board at the entry get might be a good idea but there was nothing that I didn't like about the place.
